Hotel drinks in Paris, France
BAR REVIEW. Came here in June with friends to grab drinks at the lobby bar. It was during the heatwave so we were thrilled there was air conditioning! Got a bottle of Cotes des Roses Rosé (sparkling rosé) which was good! Service was great.
The hotel decor inside is cute, and we went upstairs to check out the rooftop to see the dazzling Eiffel Tower which was spectacular at night!

Great location, cute ambiance - simple but expensive - paying for view and location
I'm giving it 3.5 stars technically. The location is phenomenal which is why I booked it, and it's only one of couple of Hiltons that have the Eiffel view from the room. I booked their Eiffel moment room which literally only gives you the top 1/3 of the tower but I took it (room was on 6th floor) because of other buildings. I was hoping for the full tower view which was why I paid so much to book this hotel.
The only reason why I am not giving this hotel as many stars as I wanted is because for an international Hilton, they didn't treat this Diamond member like other Hilton hotels with upgrades (which was available at the time of checking in). She basically told me that the most they can do is allowing me to check in early which is Diamond benefit. I was able to go into my room earlier - around 10 AM or so - for shower and then I can start exploring Paris. I also made a note that I'm flying to Paris for my big milestone birthday so she did arrange for my room to be decorated with fabric rose petals, balloons, and swans made out of towels. It was quite sweet - she did ask the housekeeping to do this while I was there in French which I overheard. I do truly appreciate this gesture.
As a Diamond member, they do offer the breakfast for free which was nice. However, I wasn't as impressed with the breakfast as I was when I was in other parts of Europe. It is definitely above US standards but for European standards, I thought it was okay. The omelette I ordered wasn't made the French way (fluffy) as I expected - it was harder like American style (or the way I make it since I'm not a cook). I thought it was ironic since I'm in France. The check-in staff told me that their croissants are from the famous La Carette, but I couldn't believe it as it wasn't as good as I'd expected (went to La Carette on my last morning and I was equally unimpressed so I guess she was right). I admit that I am a foodie and place food high on my list of evaluation since I am in France after all.
I would recommend this hotel only if you need the Eiffel view which I did for my milestone birthday. They will not offer complimentary upgrades, because most of their patrons are Americans, I believe, and maybe a lot of Diamond members come by so they treat us like in American Hilton hotels. We're just dime a dozen. However, the Trocadero location is amazing! You're close to metro line 6 and can go anywhere as you're central. The Eiffel Tower will amaze you whenever you step out of the hotel. I wish I had time for the museums that were at Trocadero. I was considering another hotel with a view which wasn't Hilton, but thinking that Hilton would do some amazing complimentary upgrade, I chose this hotel and was wronged.
La Carotte is down the street within walking distance, but as stated above, not as good as I'd expected. Maison d'Isabelle was better which I ate on my last morning in Paris (no line on Tues AM). I really do look forward to my breakfasts in Europe and have high standards for the French as cooking standard here is top notch. But I wouldn't come to this hotel for their breakfast as there are better options out there.

Great hotel in great location.
Great hotel. Fantastic location. Standing at front door of hotel you can see eiffel tower. 10 minute walk to viewing platform to get perfect view of eiffel tower. Hotel is on mostly residential block. Breakfast average for excellent hilton hotels. Everything you could want. They custom cook eggs, omelots etc
Diamond status recognized abd appreciated.
Ice machine broken. Minor bug. Had to get ice from roof restaurant. Mgmt please fix broken machine.
Front desk friendly and helpful.

25 minute walk to eiffel tower. We are senior citizens able to do. On way back use right side path to reduce number of steps

Great stay at the Canopy
We loved our stay at the Canopy in Paris. The location was great for us -- short walk to restaurants and the Metro, and the Trocadero is at your doorstep with amazing Eiffel Tower views. Our room was spacious enough to accommodate our group of 3 comfortably. We ate breakfast daily at the hotel. The buffet selection was fresh and extensive, with fresh juices and an assortment of pastries, cheeses, hot dishes, and menu items you could order. We liked being in the 16th, it was more residential but city life was right around the corner. We also really appreciated the A/C in the hotel after a day of sightseeing. We ate at the hotel for dinner a few times, burgers and pizza were delicious. And the rooftop bar is not to be missed with its lovely view of the Eiffel Tower. Will definitely be back!

Great location and Hotel
We really enjoyed our stay at the Canopy. The location is nearby the Eiffel Tower, but not too tourisy. There are some shops and restaurants in the vincinity. The room was clean and big and the lobby was nice. They have a rooftop restaurant that has great views and food.
