Really lovely hotel.

Really lovely hotel, beautiful decor and atmosphere. Great service at reception with an easy check in. Room with balcony was lovely just small. The bathroom and shower also very nice with luxury Nuxe products. Room was made up everyday and the small touches were very nice.
In a great location close to many shops/restaurants. About 30mins walk to the river and Notre Dame Cathedral.

Paid full price for a Superior Double Room. The room had no fridge, shower was over the bath, but their was no shower curtain or shower screen ,no anti slip mat for bath, no chair/s in the room, HOWEVER main complaint the pool and spa were closed for the duration of our stay. Hotel refused any financial compensation for this, totally unacceptable. AVOID THIS HOTEL IN MY OPINION.

A charming and perfectly located stay in Paris
Hotel Monte Cristo is a wonderful base for exploring Paris, with a great location in a brilliant neighbourhood. It was lovely to be able to walk to the Panthéon and Notre-Dame, with plenty of cafés, restaurants and bars nearby for easy breakfasts and evening drinks.
The rooms are full of character and have a warm, individual feel that makes the hotel much more memorable than a standard chain property. One of the highlights for me was having a bath—a real treat after a long day of walking around the city.
The neighbourhood itself is lively but relaxed, and the hotel is ideally placed for enjoying Paris on foot while still having everything you need close by.
A charming hotel in an excellent location, and somewhere I’d happily stay again.

Terrible

We were given a lesser room than paid for because the hotel could not accommodate our previous reservation, despite having the room already booked. We went down every night of our 3 night stay to inquire about the issue, with promises that it would be fixed that evening, upon our return. So far as they requested we pack up and bring our luggage down, so they could move it… just to find there were no accommodations in the end.
I would never stay in this hotel again. The service was horrible. Among all the beautiful hotels in the 5th, the last place I’d ever stay again.

Top-notch stay!

We stayed at this hotel in mid-July (to attend the BTS concert...) The hotel is great. Very beautiful room. Very nice decor. The staff was top-notch. The cocktails at the bar are fabulous..... Close to the subway.
A big thank you to all the staff!
An address to remember for our future trips to Paris.
