Safety issue with room
As previously stated in my email previously, you have no right in taken money from my account when standards have not been meet. The room
Temperature was not safe and was a risk to me and my partner. It doesn’t matter if they had air conditioning. The room had to be safe and it wasn’t for me to be sick due to the heat clearly shows it was not safe. As I mention earlier I believe I head heat stroke and had to leave the room and my partner aswell. It wasn’t safe to return to stay at the room what’s I requested to cancel the room. A full refund should be provided .
We raised a complaint with reception staff and the Opodo. I am stocked that both the hotel and agency so the room
Was suitable at over 35-40 degrees. There was a cheap pain that blew hot air around the room. A cooling fan would have been more suitable, using an excuse that the hotel doesn’t have air conditioning. You have an obligation to people of the safety. At the room temperature are high levels is not safe.
At 3 o’clock people were shouting and breaking glass outside the hotel so it was safe to go outside to cool down. The temperature outside the hotel was cooler.
We notified the agents and hotel it wasn’t safe to stay in the room. The least they could have done was a refund for the night and lots of water in the rooms so people wouldn’t overheat. I am fit and healthy, but if I was I would be surprise in those heats if it could cause a heart attack or risk to life.
This is serious and hope no one else experiences this. The hotel knew the issue with the heat, it surprise me that they wouldn’t invest in cooling fans in the rooms. So simple but could be effective. If you don’t invest, you won’t get repeat business or satisfied customers.
We were fortunate to be able to afford a different hotel but not everyone has that luxury. But in fairness they could have just called prior to the visit to say the room tempature was so high, to give me the opportunity to book another hotel.
Instead they let us check in and never mention the heat of the rooms. On arrival there wasn’t any fan. The men on request gave us a cheap fan not a cooling fan.
I would not recommend the hotel, it clear they don’t care about people’s safety.

A nightmare
The first time already, my stay had been ruined by a completely drunk neighbor who made a fuss all night. I wanted to give the institution a second chance, but unfortunately, nothing has changed.
This time, the person in the next room put on music all night. Despite knocking on the door and calling the front desk, the hotel guest was screaming in Chinese. Soundproofing is simply non-existent, we hear absolutely everything, which makes rest impossible.
Dirty and obsolete hotel, no curtain or shutter, no soundproofing, I do not know where some go to look for their stars!!!
To top it all off, we ask you for a €60 deposit on arrival... for a hotel in a very old state, which is difficult to understand.
Clearly negative experience twice. I don't recommend it.

A disaster
For this price, it is even more shocking.
They still haven’t returned the €80 deposit, several days later.
What is the use of this deposit anyway, since no furniture has been changed for at least 30 years?
Oh, and no air conditioning! Only 200 hotels in Ile de France, out of more than 4000, do not have air conditioning, and they are part of it. At this price?? This is crazy.
