Authentic Parisienne experience

Fabulously clean and functional apartment for 2 in a convenient and vibrant location close amidst bars, restaurants, bakeries, laundromats and so much more. Stayed a week but could have stayed a month. A very authentic Parisienne experience. Thank you @residencenellparis

disappointment

We chose the Nell residence for the many positive reviews but we were very disappointed. The structure is definitely scruffy; the entrance and reception appear immediately resigned. The rooms despite being bright and fairly large also given the average of Paris are very poorly maintained .. furniture chipped in many places and with damp spots, inside the shower the wall was peeling in several places , the phones of both rooms did not work and when we pointed out we were told that they knew and had to fix them for a long time, the bathroom had major problems both for flushing the toilet (the water could not be pulled twice in a row but you had to wait at least 15/20 minutes and in any case the power was very low) both for the drain of the sink that was clogged (they fixed it on the third day after various reminders), the lights can not be controlled by the bed and the only central light point of the room is very weak, the safety lock of the door had been removed and not replaced, the curtains and bed fabrics were stained in several places, under the sofa bed there were heaps of dust as well as the cleaning in general was not satisfactory, the smoke detector was covered with a transparent dome. The services were found to be inadequate especially the towel supply service.

Great Place to Stay in Paris

Stayed here this week Sunday to Thursday - Great location and the facilities are excellent - Staff very helpful, always available.
Rooms good for Paris - Plenty of space, good facilities in room and very clean.
My stay Room 502 - 5th Floor - Lift quite at night - Room had a Kitchen area, Table and Chairs, Sperate Bedroom and 2 x TV - Coffee machine and Iron etc.
Cleaning daily - all good.
Price on average for 4 nights £162.00 per night including Taxes
Location 10 mins from Gare Du Nord - Opera 10 minutes and easy access to all Metro etc. Plenty of Places to eat and SuperMarket is round the corner.
What is not to like - Stayed here many times... Always good.

AVOID!!
AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS — COMPLETE SCAM
This hotel is an absolute disgrace. I have no idea how it has a 4-star rating, and frankly, I question the legitimacy of every positive review out there. We were completely scammed. What was advertised online and what we walked into could not have been more different.
From the moment we stepped inside, we knew we had made a huge mistake. The place looked and felt like a run-down hostel, not a proper hotel.
The entrance was depressing with suitcases stashed everywhere and a messy desk that acted as the “lobby”. The whole place reeked of neglect. It was shabby, worn down, and completely misrepresented online.
We booked what was called an “Apartment” on the 5th floor for $650 per night in July.
$650 dollars per night!!! What we got was maybe worth $200 if you were being generous.
The carpets were stained, the curtains were hanging off their hooks, the cabinets and corners all cracked and chipped, and the furniture was chipped and so shabby and gross.
The elevator felt like it hadn’t been serviced in years and honestly felt like a safety hazard.
I have no problem spending money on good hotels, especially during peak season, but this was pure robbery.
We were there over a weekend and the streets were so loud and crowded, not a pretty or quaint area at all. You could hear drunk people shouting at 4am walking home - awful!
What makes it even worse is that the reviews and photos were so misleading it felt like we were victims of a total sham.
I’m so angry that this place is being marketed as something remotely nice. It is not. It is a scam.
Do not stay here.
Do not trust the reviews.
Do not waste your money.

Great experience

We stayed as a family in this residence in Paris and enjoyed it very much. The location is strategic, perfect for sightseeing and well connected to public transport. Nearby there are supermarkets, restaurants and all useful services, which makes your stay even more comfortable. The apartment is comfortable, clean and well furnished, with everything you need. Excellent soundproofing, which guaranteed silence and rest despite the central area. Thanks to the reception staff, always kind and helpful. Highly recommended!
