Great Location, Great Hostel

Excellent stay for a few nights. Lovely area. Easy commute to center of Paris. Good atmosphere and the food was lovely.

NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE AND ZERO SECURITY – STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDED

A total nightmare of a stay. My girlfriend and I had booked a 4-bed dorm room in this hostel, where we were the only occupants. The first night, around 3:00 AM, we were woken up by the sound of our room door being opened and immediately shut. Shortly after, we went to the bathrooms on the floor. Coming out of the stall, my girlfriend found an unknown man standing right outside the bathroom door who was staring at her in silence and not responding to her greeting. A moment of pure panic.
Walking back to our room, we noticed that this person was using a keycard with which he was opening several rooms along the hallway, and he was actually entering some of them, such as room 411. We locked ourselves inside and tried to get some rest, but the worst was yet to come.
Around 5:30 AM, our room door was opened with the keycard once again. An intruder walked straight up to my bunk bed, pulled back the curtain, and stood there staring at me in complete silence for 10 agonizingly long seconds before closing it and leaving. We were both awake and terrified.
The morning after and the next day, we went to reception to report what happened and get clarification on the situation. The response from the management and staff were disgraceful: we were offered no safer alternative, nor any form of support or protection; the only explanation given was that the individual was drunk, using his state of intoxication as a valid excuse to dismiss the issue entirely and shirk all responsibility, as though guest safety wasn't their concern. Fearing for our personal safety, we were forced to abandon the hostel and find alternative accommodation at our own expense. So far we have received no refund, not even for the remaining night. A dangerous place where keycards grant unauthorized access to other people's rooms and where guests are left entirely on their own. Avoid this hostel at all costs.

Amazing place

Came durinf the heat wave. Honestly, they were fantastic. The staff did an absolute star job battling the heat and also the football was on too. Their customer service was on point. Everything was clean, organised and done with care. The breakfast was cool too. Huge thankyou to the bar staff and waiters, the food was incredible too. Prime location. Close to everything. Laundry available, friendly atmosphere, nice study lounge. Great value for money.

Best receptionist-Matteo

Great location with clean rooms and bathrooms, had the sweetest guy as a receptionist-Matteo, helped me a lot and gave me a few great recommendations in the city!
