Stunning views and food. There are however some faults.

The location is stunning and the food was fabulous.
Unfortunately the room we slept in needs updating. It had no character and no aircon which was a problem in August.
The mattress was uncomfortable and the lack of any water and coffee making facilities was a disappointment.
The staff were generally delightful, friendly and helpful. We feel we do however need to mention the fact we felt very uncomfortable by the attitude of one member of staff. He quite clearly had an issue with us which was to say the least disconcerting. An illustration of this was when we asked for a coffee in the morning. It felt like it was a total inconvenience from his perspective and when it did arrive it was delivered with a grimace.
I mention this in the hope that the individual recognises the importance of customer service which unfortunately is not a skill he currently posesses.

Charming, rustic hotel with beautiful views. The manager was really friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable. A breakfast of bread, croissants, ham, cheese and some local conserves was very delicious

Charming hotel and gourmet restaurant

We had booked a standard room and upon arrival we were upgraded to a very beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the garden.
We dined at the restaurant, which offers 2 options: bistro or gourmet. We chose the latter and were not disappointed. Excellent 4-course meal . Very attentive staff, and the owner was present and very pleasant..
We highly recommend this charming hotel and try the restaurant with your eyes closed...

An exceptional culinary experience in a dream setting.

The restaurant is available in a "bistro" version and a "gastronomy" version. It is this second option that we chose, and we were not disappointed. The four-course menu is a delight from start to finish, due to the quality of the products and the finesse of the preparations (based that evening on asparagus). The wine list is well developed, and we chose a rosé from Var that met all our expectations. Attentive service.
