Nice hotel and restaurant right next door, very convenient

very nice step
The Pension was recently renovated, it is very clean. The 2 owners, are very welcoming available and helpful.
It is close to a butcher and bakery, the nearby pizzeria is very good too.

Very friendly mom & pop hotel, but the value isn't there.
The room: I had the "suite", which is their largest room with a toilet room on the right of the bed and the sink/tub-shower on the left. Window looks on to the industrial side of another building. Lighting is poor: 2 small wall lights and 2 bedside reading lamps. Floors are hardwood. bed was comfortable enough. Antique wardrobe. Small antique table and chair that are used for a desk area. TV is small flat screen tenuously hung from the wall above the little table; French only channels. I had to unplug it to plug in my laptop. Heat is provided by a portable electric heater. WiFi signal strong and stable.
Toilet and bath areas are newly tiled. The shower head in the tub is hand-held, and the mount on the wall is fixed, meaning that the head will only position one way: spraying water 5 feet! Made a terrible mess.
Breakfast: baguette, croissant, raisin roll, individual packs of camembert, swiss and cream cheeses, assortment of jellies, nutella, butter, tea and coffee. That's it.
I just needed a place to lay my head for one night, so it was fine. But, since I just paid 57 euro in Monaco for a 3 star hotel, 67 in La Massina Andorra for a 4 star including breakfast, and 37 in Lourdes for a 2 star hotel, 51 euro and the limited breakfast here make it not a very good value.
