Corsica 2026

Family vacation, 2 adults and a 10-year-old child.
Ground-floor apartment with patio, table, and drying rack, very comfortable for lunch and dinner.
Inside, a double bedroom with a double bed, 2 bunk beds, and a combined living room-kitchen.
Kitchen equipped with all the comforts.
Oven, coffee machine, microwave, kettle, toaster, but above all with a dishwasher and washing machine (which always come in handy)
Sheets and bath towels provided by the property.
The only flaw... for which I gave 4 stars is the lack of window screens.
We had apartment 11, very close to the road to go to the beach; with a 5-minute walk, you arrive at Santa Giulia Beach.

It would have been luxurious if...

The Cala Sultana residence is in an excellent location, surrounded by greenery, a step away from the beach, and very quiet.
The reception is located in the residence next door.
The apartment they assigned us, no. 35, is on the first floor of the first block, a nice accommodation but neglected.
The entrance lock was broken, so to open the door, one had to force it, and in any case, it would not stay closed. Having requested assistance, a maintenance worker patched it up within an hour.
NO Wi-Fi; they provided us with a new router, but the problem is not with the equipment, there is no internet. (Known issue, as we have 3 other routers from previous guests in the house)
The apartment was handed over rather dirty and with other issues to be fixed.
It is a real shame because the place is worth it, but it is necessary to reorganize the reception and review the property management functions.

Good property in an excellent location on Santa Giulia beach.

Property conveniently close to Santa Giulia beach. Apartment just the right size with the necessary amenities. I recommend the ones at the bottom, as they are more comfortable and closer to the path that leads to the beach. I gave it a 4/5 rating because there is no service (dining, bar, vending machines, etc.). To find something, you have to go to the Castel Verde facility. Recommended in any case

We had to drive to a different location to check in. The room was not ready on time, so we had to leave and come back to get the keys. A weird part of the check in process was to go through 4 pages of itemized items to verify - and what made it even more bizarre, was that it was in French. They expected us to translate the 4 itemized pages and go through each item, and email it back to them. The WiFi information on the brochure was incorrect which resulted in another round trip to the management office. The location was ok...we would have rather stayed at the other beach location - Palombaggia.

Perfect stay but thank you for thinking about cats at the outside entrance residence

Beautiful quiet and close to the beach.
Perfect garden maintenance and swimming pool.
There are wild cats in the residence graciously fed by the caretaker
On the other hand those near the local garbage cans are not as well off or even access to a water point.
They are also there to save us rodents so please think of them!!
A little fresh water and a little pâté every day can change everything
