A little cocoon of paradise
This cottage is a pure wonder, our hostess of a very great kindness sympathy and kindness at will.
The room and bathroom are nothing to say. Kettle coffee tea available in the room
We did not enjoy the terrace but chair and deck chair available.
Breakfast is perfect generous and very good
No exit time required
From the nature of comfort animals in the countryside
Nothing wrong just that if we return to the area we already have the address to stay

unfortunately disappointed
We had only read rave reviews about this gîte (both on trip and on Google) and unfortunately our experience did not come close.
We had booked the gîte "les pieds dans la mare" and in fact it was indeed the case!
We stayed for the New Year, it rained a lot, of course, but if the weather conditions do not allow us to occupy this gîte, we should not rent it (i.e. other rooms were free) and even less admit that this has been an ongoing problem since November.
In the facts? Humidity ++++; puddles in certain corners, damp bathroom ++++++ and freezing; kitchen OK except for a few details (broken oven knob, few glasses); well optimized space, rear shutter broken, the front one makes a deafening noise with the wind; access to the gîte with your feet in the mud (no path), extremely slippery terrace, no wifi or telephone network in the gîte (you might as well know this for those who have professional obligations).
You add to this that you have to go get your breakfast in the pouring rain and take it away because, being in the gîte, you cannot eat in the common lounge (ok breakfast: baguette, pastries, jam, compote, coffee and apple juice),
In short, a really not memorable experience, which is a shame because a little attention or a word of apology would have been enough for us.
