Quiet sleep

It is located next to a pedestrian street. Main entrance is closed, so finding staff might be tricky. I met the staff in the restaurant attached to the hotel (hotel`s next door); my reservation was OK. Stairways to access rooms, no lift available. The room I got (No 7) was comfortable, good bed to sleep, soft mattress. The bathroom was clean. I found a very good wi-fi in the room. TV set and heater available, and no safe in the room. All was in order and clean. Easy to walk around from this hotel, some of the touristic attractions are found near. Apart of the several stores close to the hotel, I highlight some great bakeries located on the same pedestrian street. Staff service just fair.

To avoid

Fortunately we had read the reviews to be able to access this hotel because you have to go to the restaurant downstairs to pay and collect the badge.
4 floors without elevator and very narrow steps.
The room is simple but very correct. 2 double beds.
On the other hand, at 10 p.m. when taking a shower... no hot water at all! And in December a hot shower would have been nice. The next day when we hand over the badge we feel that the manager really doesn't care. He replied ok when we told him that there was no hot water....
The positive point is the location and we couldn't find any availability during this period but we won't be coming back!

Great location

We were only staying in the city overnight and picked a central location. The hotel is right in the centre next to the large statue on the pedestrian area. The hotel was basic but clean and tidy and underneath is a Latin salsa bar with live music on the Saturday night we visited.
There is a 24hr parking within 5 minutes walk called “Erlon”. It was 16€ overnight and for up to 24 hrs. Our friends also found on street parking after 5pm and that was 4€ but few and far between.

Close and comfort

Really close everywhere. You can sit in the pub and enjoy the view. So of them friendly and some not at all... I’m so sorry I can’t speak French! Unfortunately they don’t want to speak English or Spanish or Polish or German... well. But if you are looking for a good location it’s really good. No elevator! Be carful with your suitcase!

Location

We stayed here primarily for the location and cost. It was in the middle of a happening place in Reims so it was great for that and the price was a plus. The thing that would improve it is perhaps providing an electric fan for the rooms because it got really hot in the rooms even at night and even with the windows open.
