Nice step

Just a stone's throw from the Basilica, which is worth a visit (opening hours 6:30/10pm) in a dead end leading to the countryside, this hotel is located in a charming village. Very clean hotel, comfortable room with kettle (coffee, tea, herbal tea). Remember that on Sunday and Monday the restaurant is closed, but the hotel/restaurant la Madeleine which is in the main street is open. A varied and hearty breakfast with fresh produce.

Sleeping like a lawn in Labrador

On the way south, we chose to stop at this Inn especially for the rave reviews of its annexed restaurant, the Grand Saint Benedict. Unfortunately, it was their week off. We had to settle for the only restaurant open in the village "La Madeleine" which is to be avoided at all Awards.
As for the Pension, the welcome is correct at first and quickly becomes warmer. We were able to choose our room. Maintenance is at the top, rooms and commons very clean. The environment is quite quiet and we spent a good night there.
We give a nice overall Rating of 8/10. Better sound and thermal insulation would help raise the Rating. Pension in perfect harmony with Logis de France.

Very beautiful view, ideally located
You feel at home there, the welcome is a little cold at first but very good during your stay, I highly recommend it. The restaurant is also very good, great service and very good quality

Proper and clean

Slept there for one night with my family.
The room was spacious, clean and proper.
The only flaws were the TV, which didn't receive the signal well, and the bath tub which didn't have the possibility of taking a shower.
We didn't have the breakfast there.

Disappointing, and not typical of Logis hotels

We have great regard for the Logis hotel logo, having discovered many delightful small hotels through its listings, and very rarely having been disappointed. However, it is very difficult to see how this hotel merits its three 'chimneys'. When we visited, it was woefully understaffed (owners had apparently gone on holiday; leaving one brave lady to run the coffee shop and hotel). Reception was closed, and we had to trek round to the far side of the hotel to check in. Our room was boxy, characterless and claustrophobic. The bed was uncomfortable and my partner slept on the floor. The headboard had an unpleasant greasy-looking stain. Moreover, we were told on arrival that the (3 pots) restaurant was closed, although the online Logis site for this hotel indicates that the restaurant is open all year. The abbey of Fleury has a fascinating history, and is well worth a visit, but as far as the hotel goes, we regretting our booking and could not wait to leave.
