Clean and friendly hotel
We were late booking in but the lady waited for us to arrive. A kind and warm welcome greeted us. We were given a lovely big room with a Zen theme. Bed was very comfortable with fresh clean linen. The shower could use a splash gaurd but the water pressure was good and water hot. Well needed after a long journey.
A short walk across the road leads to the beach and prom walk to the walled town of St.Malo is about 15mins. A lovely walk to the centre where the bars and restaurants open till around 2 am.
A place i would stay again.

Beware late arrivals, no refund.
We booked this hotel for an overnight stay as we were on the late ferry from Jersey, due to arrive at 9.30pm
When we arrived at the hotel at 9.45pm it was in darkness. There is no doorbell, & had to resort to knocking on the door for over 10 mins but nobody let us in.
We eventually found a hotel that received late quests, much to our relief.
We were later told that it was stipulated check was only up to 19.00. This was not apparent on our initial confirmation.
The hotel cancelled our booking, making it impossible to review their service to us.
We were amazed that they took payment for the room.
Upon enquiry through our agent, they said somebody had waited for us till 10pm. If, they were there, they did not answer to our knocking.
So if you plan to arrive late do not book this hotel.

birthday trip to france
we spent the night here on our three night stay in st Malo , nice quiet family run hotel, very clean, cafe bar on ground floor but closes early, bit of a walk to ferry/marina but all in all enjoyed staying there

Cheap but convenient
The room was small.
The shower was a disaster.
The place needs to be refurbished.
Our ferry was cancelled and they told us a code to get in. That was good.
they were not there to say goodbye when we left (9:00 a.m.)

Hôtel décevant
Accueil limite sympathique pas un mot ni un sourire du patron, stationnement difficile
110€ la nuit pour une chambre vieillissante, affichée à 100€ non chauffée le 1re soir , il a fallu se fâcher pour l’obtenir (températures extérieures 9° la nuit 15° en journée) et pour seule excuse une hypothétique loi interdisant de rallumer le chauffage avant le 19 novembre . Insonorisation limite.
Le petit déjeuner est bon, uniquement sucré.
nous sommes déçus car avions choisi cet établissement en prévision du départ de la route du rhum un an à l’avance en toute confiance.
