Back from vacation

On the way back from vacation, we stopped in Sommières to spend the night.
After some research, we chose the Hôtel Estelou and we did not regret it.
Indeed, it is located in the town's old train station, which has been converted, which gives a real originality to the stay.
The welcome and the location are perfect, because it is located a 5-minute walk from the city center.
The breakfast is very good and you then get back on the road feeling like you have taken a break out of time!
We will return with great pleasure and do not hesitate to discover it, you too. :-)
P.S.: a closed parking lot is available.

A beautiful experience in a magnificent setting

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The place is particularly cozy, with careful and elegant decoration that creates a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The outdoor areas are magnificent, very well-maintained, and the pool is a true pleasure for relaxation.
The reception staff is cordial and professional. The welcome could sometimes be a bit warmer, but that did not prevent us from having an excellent time.
A beautiful address that I recommend for its setting, comfort, and soothing ambiance.
An experience to recommend!

Rooms not great.

This converted railway station makes a grand initial impression -- with a spectacular facade and main lobby area. We were put in the "cozy" motel style rooms at the back. It had a an overpowering smell from some cleaning agent. We were assured it would disappear quickly -- but far from it, the smell was still there many hours later -- maybe because the room lacked any through draft or real ventilation. The room itself was very, very cramped, furnished with cheap plastic furniture. The bed came with a fitted sheet that would not stay on the mattress. The breakfast provided was fine. As was the location.
