A much needed holiday which didn't disappoint
You cannot fault the views or the hospitality; the owners are incredibly helpful and were so welcoming.
Breakfast (a big bowl of fresh fruit, homemade breads, croissants) was always a great start to the day and it was never a disappointment.
The gardens and swimming pool were also lovely, but as we visited in mid-September for a week, the pool was too cold for us! It would be ideal during the summer months.
It was also great to have a kitchenette to share with the other guests. There is no oven/hob but there is a microwave so you can still cook warm meals if needed.
Overall, I cannot fault the b+b. If you love nature and hiking and small mountain towns this b+b/area is for you. Just bare in mind the roads are very windy in the area and it takes much longer to get from place to place so you have to factor that in to your daily plans. The nearest supermarket is about 12km away too, so be prepared and stock up on food! There is a fridge and freezer so that's not an issue.
We both enjoyed staying here a lot and I'm sure we will visit again!

Le Mont d'Olivine Chambre d' Hotes is surrounding by olive trees. You may enjoy tasty breakfast in the morning, relax near outdoor swimming pool in the evening, watch stars on the night sky. High quality service is provided by hospitable family who speaks Russian, French and English. The rooms are decorated with modern furniture, TV, WI-FI. Nearby is the restraunt of delicious French Cousine.
Small cosy cities and villages are close, such as Utelle, Jillet, Bonson. The wonderful small town, St. Martin Vesubie and Mercantour national park can be easily get by car, map of local mountains routes and passes will be provided.
If you like travelling and want to discover new routes, find adventures and new positive emotions go there!
