A place to return to

Just the nicest place you can stay on a budget. Clean, safe and friendly. The manager and chef Salif will make you feel at home and that there are no problems that can’t be solved. It is a very good place to experience the Gambia away from the main tourist area, and still feel very safe. The food is delicious, the pool is refreshingly cool and clean.
I spent two weeks here with my daughter who is eight, and she had a wonderful time and a great first experience of Africa. We will be back, hopefully soon!

Home Away From Home!

I stayed the entire 3months of the remainder of the rainy season there. Didn’t want to risk staying in area prone to possible flooding.
Everyone is nice and accommodating.
I love the birds singing during the day.
I stayed in the “Round house “. It was on my “bucket list “

Een thuis in Afrika

Dabo House is, zoals hun slogan uw thuis in Afrika
Salifu is een zéér belangrijk persoon in deze guesthouse. Hij runt de zaak in naam van de eigenaars als zou het zijn eigen guesthouse zijn. De kamers zijn perfect onderhouden en uitermate proper.
Een extra troef is het private zwembad op het terrein.
Het ontbijt is goed en Salifu is een uitstekende kok die je verwent met zijn kookkunsten.
Er is een frigo aanwezig waar je drinken en of eten kan koel houden.
Vlakbij de guesthouse zijn enkele warenhuizen en degelijke restaurants.
Het strand is op een tiental minuutjes te voet te bereiken.
Turntable is een knooppunt van waar je verschillende plaatsen kan bereiken.
Het is tevens ook niet langs de te drukke Senegambia Strip gesitueerd waardoor er rust heerst en je kan genieten van wat Gambia te bieden heeft.
