Worst hotel of all time
We were accommodated as a sports group for two nights at the OliveInn in Aschaffenburg. The registration at the hotel and the ordering of dinners were done several weeks in advance. It was explicitly pointed out that this is a group of competitive athletes and that a healthy and protein-rich diet is needed.
For both dinners, a buffet was announced to us in advance. Instead, on both evenings, poorly arranged plates were brought to the tables.
On the first evening, overcooked, extremely soft pasta with a simple tomato sauce and three tasteless sausages were served. The food was already partially cold when it reached the last tables. Additionally, suitable protein sources were almost completely missing. Some athletes, who had to watch their weight in relation to their competition, could not eat the food that was offered. Overall, the food was simply inedible.
The second dinner also failed to impress. Four potatoes, two small carrots, and a chicken leg swimming in fat were served. This meal also did not meet the requirements or expectations for a balanced and sport-appropriate diet and was qualitatively disappointing.
Particularly incomprehensible is the price of 20 euros per person for dinner. The quality, presentation, and selection were not in any reasonable proportion to the costs charged. From our perspective, the offered food was not even worth 5 euros.
The breakfast was also unsuitable for competitive athletes. Aside from scrambled eggs, fried eggs, and hard-boiled eggs, there were no other protein-rich alternatives. There was no selection tailored to the needs of athletes.
The rooms were clean and generally acceptable. However, in our room, the shower leaked, causing the entire bathroom to be flooded after showering.
It is particularly disappointing that the special requirements of our group were communicated early, yet neither the promised catering form nor the quality and composition of the food met expectations. Therefore, we cannot recommend the hotel for sports groups.

Catastrophe - Don't book hotel!
Reason: at 0 degrees outside temperature no working heating in the room. According to the reception, the problem is said to be known for a long time, but room was offered anyway. Employees were unable to provide another heatable room or, alternatively, a fan heater. Hotel management not available. Immediately cancelled and left.
For questions about refunds, there were only telephone consolations by the reception. Written inquiries by email went unanswered. Totally unprofessional management.
Conclusion: Never again and all other travellers: Get away from this hotel!
