!!!Warning,- not book!!

!! Beware,- do not book!! Although I had booked from 03.10.2025 to 05.10.2025 I only received the access code on 04.10.2025 by SMS,- so one day late. No one was available by phone, email or SMS on October 3rd at 8pm. My complaints at the hotel, but also at Booking.com came to nothing,- no one declared themselves responsible,- a money refund wg of not provided service did not take place! This hotel for this reason not recommended,- you could call it fraud.

Terrible.

Service non-existent, upon our arrival the access code did not work, we tried to contact the number that had been provided for an hour and 30 without any success. Only after asking Booking assistance to move us to another hotel did we “magically” receive a reply to try again (the code had not been activated by THEIR mistake). We were not even apologized for despite the mistake was theirs and we stayed an hour and a half in the cold of Berlin. When we arrived in the room the smell of smoke and dirt almost made us sorry that the access code had worked. Previous guests had enjoyed sticking pictures and photos around, and in the bathroom there were clearly visible hairs. We pointed out the problem immediately without ever receiving a response, even the following day they took the trouble to enter and clean what had been left by the other guests, we stayed with their dirt for 3 days. The machines that should offer hot drinks are unusable, in the hours when it was on the milk was always missing and the only thing you could drink was hot water or terrible coffee. Uncomfortable bed with low and soft pillows without the possibility of being able to change it. One of the two sockets does not work and the other charged very slowly (1 hour to have 20% on the phone). You feel abandoned, if you need anything you do not even receive an answer, even after 10 calls. The worst hotel I've ever stayed in, extremely not recommended!

I call it fraud - beware of this hotel!

I call it fraud when you receive money without providing anything in return. No availability, you only get messages through Booking.com that despite lack of service from the hotel - you get no refund. I can only warn everyone! take another hotel.

Unclear online check-in procedure and unclear why they canceled my booking

I booked this hotel for one night. The hotel has an online check-in procedure, but unfortunately it was not possible to do the check-in online. At 3:15 PM I received an email that the property had canceled my booking of that day due to not checking in online (whilst it was still possible to check-in at the property the whole day). I tried to call several times but they didn't pick up. Online I received a short response. In the end I had to do a second booking (obviously didn't go there anymore).
I didn't receive my money back.

SCAM!

PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I am often in Berlin for work and want to prevent this from happening to someone else.
Berlin is full of good hotels, scroll down a little further and find another one worthwhile.
Due to AMC's poor service, my booking was cancelled without notice. On the day I arrived, I had to find another place to stay. To make matters worse, AMC is not responsible for their mistakes and is not willing to refund the money for the booking!
Upon arrival I find out that the “hotel” has no reception and is only accessible via a code. I call the hotel and learn that the reservation (5 nights) was cancelled because I did not check in online. I declare that I have not received any information about online check-in. I ask for a solution as I had just come from my flight and it was also late. Finding another place to stay would be impossible and they left me on the street. Your answer: “Not my problem, bye”.
In the following days I try to clarify the problem to find a solution. I find out that the information was sent to me through a different booking portal (Expedia) than the one I booked with (Booking). But you are not responsible for the error. Although they do not ensure that the information reaches their guests properly and cancel bookings without notice, they are not willing to refund the money.
