Recommended for a short week

Very nice designed premises and super nice staff; double room with single occupancy is no problem, with two people it would be tight; the accessibility with the M41 fits, you are also quickly with the line in central places or at the HBF; proximity to the Bergmannkiez is a location advantage ... there you have EVERYTHING

A week in West Kreuzberg, Berlin, with Hotel Johann as our home base

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful 7 night stay at Hotel Johann. We are returning guests and we were not disappointed. We had a very comfortable, spacious room and a great shower! The breakfasts are amazing - organic, fresh and delicious! The staff are so friendly and helpful. Our friends joined us at the weekend, and they too were very impressed.

Quiet and clean hotel in a good location

Hotel Johann is a charming, small and individually run hotel with very friendly staff. We felt very comfortable. Our room (comfort) was large and functional. The bathroom was spotlessly clean, which is very important for us. Sure we will stay at Johann again the next time we are in Berlin.
We still don't give 5 stars. The core business of a hotel should be good sleep. Unfortunately, mattresses (quite soft) and especially the pillows (heavy, hard and somehow ‘lumpy’) do not give this away at all for our needs. We hope that something will change by our next visit.

Comfortable and pleasant stay in Berlin

I had a very pleasant experience staying at Hotel Johann in Berlin. The hotel has a calm and welcoming atmosphere, and everything was well organized from check-in to check-out. The room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged, which made it easy to relax after busy days. The location is convenient and allows easy access to different parts of the city while still feeling quiet and peaceful. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable stay, and I would gladly return again.
