Nice area of Berlin and really good place to stay
Arrived in late evening, greeted by chap on reception, he was pleasant enough and told us the basics re the hotel, the room was very big, looked out onto Ku Damm Straße via a nice balcony, had a coffee machine, tv , fridge, plenty of robe space, a safe which was faulty, but they did unlock it quickly when we had an issue, bathroom very nice, very old building but loads of character, breakfast was really good, lots of choice, hot and cold, wasn't mad busy, only gripe was no toaster, strange? So easy to get around city via train, bus, and reasonably priced, plenty of restaurants around too, I love berlin and have been a number of times, I'd return here without a second thought.

Fantastic!!
Really fantastic. Nice building from 1897. Lovely beds and nice, good bathroom. Also, the customer friendliness of the staff is very good. We were in Berlin ourselves at the time it was very hot, and when we returned to the room at the end of the day it was still nice and cool. The housekeeping also makes the beds every day (unless you indicate that you don't want it). The breakfast was not very big but the quality was good. Definitely worth repeating!

Excellent choice
Clean hotel, fairly large rooms and an EXCELLENT breakfast; there was both savory and sweet, which is not a given abroad! They let us leave our luggage even though the rooms were not all ready! A small welcome buffet and the super kind staff

An excellent stay when in Berlin!
Our second time to stay at this hotel and again, it did not disappoint.
From start to finish, it was a wonderful stay.
In a lovely, clean, central neighbourhood in Berlin.
There is a plethora of cafés and restaurants nearby. All reasonably priced. Coffee Pony is a must try when there!!
The S-Bahn is a mere 5 minute walk away and brings you to anywhere in Berlin. Another plus.
The room was even better than the one we had in our first stay. Very spacious, with a comfortable bed (for 2), tea/coffee station, wardrobe with a safe, seating area and a modern bathroom.
Our floor (the 4th floor) was just so peaceful. But in saying that, our first stay was also relaxing and tranquil and we had no noise complaints.
The room also had a tower fan, for the hot summer months.
The staff are exceptionally friendly and forthcoming. Made us feel very welcome. There is a really nice atmosphere in the hotel.
The bar opens in the evenings, and they do cocktail hour from 5pm-7pm.
The breakfast was nice, a continental selection which varied from cold meat, breads, cheese, veggies, fruit, pastries, eggs / sausages / bacon, yogurt pots etc etc. We only ate at the breakfast buffet once, but it was enjoyable.

Suffering 40 C heat in Berlin I was hoping to survive last night in a hotel room. It claimed to have air-conditioning... but when we entered the room our only discovery was a small table ventilator hidden in a closet. Maybe they have secret rooms with A/C but we didn't find any. The rest was ok.
