Very good location. Clean room. Room as described. If you are travelling in hot weather then recommend really considering whether to avoid booking this place, as the room air conditioning is not powerful and room can get warm as a result.

The worst hotel experience and customer service

The worst hotel experience and customer service I have had in more than 25 years of traveling.
On the day of check-in, exactly at 3 PM, I received an email saying that the room I had fully prepaid for 1.5 months in advance was suddenly unavailable. Their “solution” was to move me to a hotel on the outskirts of Berlin or “kindly” refund my money. Because obviously I came to Berlin for 3 days just to spend my time commuting on public transport instead of enjoying the city center.
And of course, at the prices available on the same day, it was impossible to find even the smallest room in central Berlin for the amount I had already paid in advance.
My reply email was completely ignored by the manager, Selma, so I had to contact every support channel possible, where I was either ignored again or repeatedly offered accommodation far outside the city center, with a 30+ minute public transport commute. Absolute nonsense.
Naturally, I chose to get my money back. Then I was told: “Please cancel the booking from your side and we will process the refund.”
Well, it has now been more than two weeks, and I am still waiting for my money back with absolutely no information about when Numa finally plans to return it. Numa managers — wake up and return my money. You are illegally withholding my funds.
I will make videos about this experience and leave reviews everywhere possible because this company leaves people stranded without any real alternative while also holding their money hostage. I can personally afford to book another hotel at last-minute prices — but what if someone else cannot?
What makes this even more disappointing is that I used to be a huge fan of the Numa hotel chain. I stayed at your properties in Florence, Belgium, and every time I visited Amsterdam, I chose Numa. In Amsterdam, whenever there was a force majeure situation, your team offered me upgraded accommodation within your own network. But in Berlin, without any proper explanation, you simply tried to relocate me to the middle of nowhere.
Truly shocking and unacceptable service.

Numa Berlin went above and beyond expectations. It was so easy to check in and communicate with the chat bought with anything that I needed. I really enjoyed staying at their beautiful property and I will forever be a Numa guest.

It’s a digital hotel so make sure you download the NUMA app so you can easily gain access. And it ain’t the easiest to find but once you know where it is, you know.
But it’s spacious and clean.
Location was good but could be a little noisy at night with why I think were cleaners doing the local streets but why at such an ungodly hour?? Still not the hotels fault. All up it’s close to transport, very roomy and good value.

The property itself is in a good area and the flats are clean and modern. The problem lies with the lack of support - there is no reception and no-one to answer any questions. The problems started on arrival. We were sent a pin number to enter the building/flat - but when we entered the pin number it didn't work. This is because the property had failed to tell us that one has to press the 'tick' button after the pin for the door to open. Fortunately, another guest at the property told us that and we were able to get in, otherwise we would have been on the street. The 'emergency number' which the property gives is nothing but a recorded message which repeats - no-one answers. When we had questions about how the equipment in the flat - televison, fridge, microwave - operates - there are no instructions in the flats - again I was unable to get answers to my questions - I got a reply to my email on the day I was leaving.
Basically, when you enter the property you are on your own - there is no support or information - I was able to work some things out myself, but the idea is that everything is done by apps - if you are not into apps, then it is not a good idea to stay here. I certainly won't be.
