A dream on the Harlachberg Alm with a lot of heart

Today we were guests at Harlachberg Alm, with family and friends young and old. It was a wonderful and exciting morning. We have registered for bread baking and were welcomed several times, the Wirtini is a soul of man. Everything about the alpine pasture , as well as the production of bread dough and baking was explained with a lot of love and patience. Afterwards we reserved a table for lunch, there we ate freshly smoked trout and many other delicacies of the menu... that too a dream. All around excited, fed up and happy we walked down from the very worth seeing alpine pasture.
Thank you very much for the wonderful day on the Harlachberg Alm! Always happy!

A wonderful getaway ...

My daughter and I stayed with our dog one night in the “ Wiesenschlafhäusl” and we loved it ! The food , especially my onion roast was very , very tasty and the staff were very accommodating (:
We will definitely come back next year in the summer.....

Absolutely recommendable!!!

Have spent a wonderful weekend as a family in the Chalet "Erdschlafhäußl" - absolutely unforgettable!!! Wonderful views, modern facilities, endless hiking trails... We will definitely come back!

Fantastic location and soulful place

We were on holiday in Bodenmais for 10 days and visited the GutsAlm a few times to eat and drink coffee in the wonderful beer garden/ambience. The main reason was a bread baking course that we were completely thrilled with. The food, the surroundings of the Alm, the location and actually everything made this place feel good.
Thanks again to Anneliese Krauss for the warmth. The GutsAlm Harlachberg has become a soul place for us ❤️

Really great, relaxing place to stay - would stay there again

The Gutsalm is relatively easy to find if you are travelling to Bodenmais and following the signs. It is a little bit hills up and might be challenging during winter time to get there. But in April it wasn't an issue. Around the Gutsalm there is "nothing" except for nature, a really quiet place. It isn't a problem to park your car on an outside car park. The check in and check out worked quickly and friendly. We stayed in one of the "Wiesenhüttnhäusschen" which are a small walk (2-3 minutes) from the reception and restaurant building. They are for max. 4 people and really cute. Everything is made out of wood and the view was stunning (especially from the balcony). Ours had two rooms with a double bed in both of them and a tiny kitchen (including a fridge). It was clean, the beds were really comfortable and we enjoyed staying there. The meals in the restaurant were really fantastic and the staff was really willing to go the extra mile if you have some dietary limitations, e.g. vegan. I stayed there for a sports weekend so except for the sports classes I didn't see much but there seemed to be nice hiking tracks around. You could also use a hot tube outside (additional fee) if you'd like to do that. The only negative things I could see (which are really not that important) are that the Wifi was pretty slow so don't try watching any kind of videos ;-) and another pan, we only had one cooking pot would have been nice. But I would certainly recommend to stay there for a relaxing time!
