Front of house were nice, but by 9pm you are on your own.
We needed a few things after a night check in and everything was locked up and we could get no assistance.
Beds were not comfortable.
Room and bathroom were clean and large, but very very dated.

Unfriendly

Unfortunately very unfriendly staff both at breakfast and reception, the armchairs in the room were very worn and broken, which makes a very bad impression. We would have liked to recommend the hotel to other family members due to the quiet location, but under these circumstances we will not reserve here again.

OK for an overnight stay

The hotel is a little outside of Schwachhausen, but very quiet, even the rooms facing the street. Unfortunately, there is no lockable room for bicycles, only a parking space behind the building. There is no elevator, so you have to lug everything up two flights of stairs. The room is very small and narrow, you can hardly get around the bed. The bathroom is just as narrow, even for one person. You're constantly bumping into something. The breakfast is average, the usual (3 types of cheese, 4 types of sausage, sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, etc., some cereal, yogurt in plastic cups, no fruit, coffee specialties (espresso, latte macchiato) cost extra.
I don't need to go there again.

No words! Not again so quickly!

After I had a nice single room in the hotel in December 2023, I was assigned a room in one of the Heldt guesthouses on the other side of the street in January 2024.
NEVER AGAIN! No curtains—ground floor—always people at night. Very sensible for women traveling alone! I called reception immediately, I could have used a large blanket as a curtain. Unfortunately, there was nothing there when I returned at around 11 p.m.! ALWAYS ask if the room is in the hotel or opposite!

Pleasant experience

A very satisfactory stay at a hotel situated in a quiet residential area next to a cemetery about 5 kms from the centre of Bremen. Excellent tram connections (Number 4) nearby.
The room was very clean and comfortable, everything you need provided in the bathroom. Excellent shower. Beds were also good.
The breakfast at €7 was excellent value, no cooked breakfast but good German breakfast selection - cheeses, meats, jams, boiled eggs, joghurt.
Family run hotel, enjoyable atmosphere, would be content to visit it again.
