Sehr schönes Ambiente mit nettem Personal und einem echt tollen "Wiener Café

Das Hotel gibt es in der alten Form gar nicht mehr und hat längst neue Besitzer, die das Hotel nach und nach renovieren und rundum erneuern.
Das Wiener Café hat über das Wochenende bereits schon geöffnet und bietet eine sehr leckere Auswahl an homemade Kuchen an. Das Ambiente im Palais wird dem historischen Charakter des Hotels total gerecht. Ein Hauch von Rokkoko eben...
Eigentlich müsste zu diesem Eintrag hier alles gelöscht werden, denn das Schlosshotel ist mit dem dem alten so überhaupt gar nicht zu vergleichen. Ein Problem könnte sein, dass die neuen Besitzer die Änderungen noch nicht an Tripadvisor gemeldet haben...
Unser Besuch zur Muttertagsaktion war jedenfalls ein voller Erfolg und das Servicepersonal war total nett und aufmerksam.
Wir freuen uns schon auf den Sommer, wenn die Aussenterrassen allen Besuchern zur Verfügung stehen sollen. Wir kommen jedenfalls gern noch mal vorbei!

Glaring violations egn fire protection

Hotel without functioning fire protection.
My colleague and I each got a room where there were no smoke detectors installed.
In the corridors, the smoke detectors are partially covered.
The escape sign lights were inoperative.
Fire doors partially wedged or the locking mechanism dismantled.
When we claimed the defects, we were asked to leave the hotel.
The lady wouldn't give us money again.

Coffee and cake

We came in after the tour in the wonderful schloss. The coffee was cold and more like tea, tasted awful, and the cake was so so. Extremely slow service and not very friendly. The interior needs a fixer upper.

Nice hotel

This hotel is located across the street form Schloss Wilhelmsthal, and seems to be from the same era. (it isn't, we asked) The rooms are large, and decorated from a bygone era. But the beds were comfortable and everything was neat and clean. Even though everything is 'old' it's most certainly not run down. The hairdryer in the bathroom is almost worth a visit. It's an ancient contraption with a hose, but it works. There was a full size bath in our room. there was no wifi in our room
We ate dinner at the in house restaurant. Typical German fare, but good and reasonably priced.
The breakfast that was included was also good.

Unfreundliches Personal

Wir waren durch eine Familienfeier in dem Hotel. Wir kamen an und dann standen wir vor dem ersten Problem es war überbucht und wir hatten kein Zimmer! Nach einigem hin und her haben wir es dann doch hingekriegt!
Die Dame der Rezeption hat sich nicht um das Problem geschert sondern war einfach weg, ohne ein Entschuldigung oder das Sie sich das Problem eingestanden hätte!
Die Zimmer waren nicht sauber so wie man es erwartet, Spinnen und Spinnenweben!
Beim Essen abends gab es für unsere Vegetarier eine Gemüseplatte aus Tiefkühlgemüse, lustlos zusammen gestellt!
Am Ende war die Abrechnung auch ein bisschen komisch, mit 2,50 Euro pauschal Internet und Parkplatz (wir kamen mit einem Auto und mussten trotzdem alle zahlen!
Ein schöner Abend im Hotel trotzdem ist einiges schiefgelaufen, ich würde das Hotel nicht empfehlen, es sei denn die Chefin würde das ein oder andere Problem einsehen und verändern
