a very nice hotel at a low price

I was here from Saturday to Sunday. There was no reception and also no breakfast, that was not too bad. I got into the room via a code and a baker with breakfast was 200 metres away. There were chilled drinks at a normal price in the lobby, there was no hotel fridge.
Outside the hotel looks more like a dormitory, inside the architecture is appealing with a beautiful courtyard. The room was really fine, the mattress not sagged. The silicone joints in the bath had no fungal growth. The air conditioning made me sleep well. The room size was adequate. And all this at an attractive price. What I missed was a washcloth in the bathroom.
Always happy again.

vielen Dank, dass Sie sich die Zeit genommen haben, unser Haus hier so umfassend zu bewerten. Tatsächlich geht es bei uns als Business Hotel an den Wochenenden oft ruhiger und autarker zu und die Bereitstellung des Frühstücksbuffets ist dann an eine Mindestteilnehmerzahl gebunden. Aber Sie haben ja als Alternative die entsprechende Infrastruktur vorgefunden, das freut uns.
Wir begrüßen Sie gerne wieder einmal und wünschen Ihnen alls Gute!

Not thinking along staff and very mediocre gym

Great hotel but very unthinking staff. We rented the bikes and extended a day with an hour overlap. So I paid double for an hour. Then we want to extend an hour but it turns out that none of that is possible. In addition, a crappy gym with an all-in-one machine that is defective and only four different dumbbells. All in all, mediocre.

Great Hotel, Best Breakfast, High Speed Internet

We stayed here because of a project in Dortmund. This place is terrific and the internet is really fast, consistent and reliable. Food is amazing and the staff are so friendly and accommodating. Room is exceptionally clean.

...only for business...

Fair week in Dortumund. Ideal hotel 15 minutes away by car. Excellent breakfast. Good service. Wifi not the best in the room. If you want super connection to work you have to move to the main lobby. Clean rooms and good parking. We know that hotels in Germany do not provide a gym service. Here we have a small gym and sauna. A small service that can make the difference.

Out of their way to make us happy

After escaping a nightmare hotel booked for us by a german family member we rang around to find someone who could help us out at short notice. Eurostar came to our rescue and booked me and my mum in for 3 nights. We paid on the spot and told them we would be back later with our luggage. We returned later that afternoon only to be told our room had been changed. Puzzled, they explained that they had shifted our room to another one with air conditioning considering the rather warm week they were experiencing. SO NICE and considerate of them.
When we arrived at our new room we were then shown that we actually had 2 separate bedrooms so we didn't need to share a bed!!! This made things even more comfortable. A simple breakfast in the morning but happy friendly staff. Definitely a pleasant stay after a horror start to our visit to Castrop Rauxel.
