Modern rooms

A small hotel with very cozy and nicely designed and decorated, silent rooms. TV set works, and you do not need to reprogramme it every time you switch it on. No English channels however. WiFi is super fast and free of charge. Host ladies are very kind. The reception is occupied only in the morning. If you arrive another time, better to make an arrangement before. The breakfast is also very good. The hotel is not far from city centre, where there are restaurants (Italian, Chinese).

A relaxing night in ..... Africa

We needed a stopover on a drive from Denmark to the port of Ijmuiden in Holland, and the location in the Lower Saxony was ideal. After a some research on Tripadvisor we decided on Sevenoaks, and we were not disappointed in any respect. The service was excellent. The rooms are very comfortable, all have geographical themes, and we spent a quiet night in Africa. A great idea! Our room had a small balcony, and we had our nightcap there looking out at some of the oaks. And - there are really 7 around the hotel. :-) The homemade breakfast was excellent and one of the best we ever have had at a hotel.
The hotel only serves breakfast, but even though the hotel is not actually located in the town centre, there are some restaurants close by. The hotel recommended an Italian - the Zafferano - 5 minutes away, and we had one of the best Italian meals we have had outside Italy.
One final thing though: We really had to trust our SatNav, as the hotel weren't signposted in any way.
We will be back - and that is probably the best recommendation we can give.

Wow... Hard to do better!

This place features the best interior design I have ever seen in any of the numerous hotels/hostel I have tried so far. The hotel comprises of 2 buildings built and decorated from scratch by a former product designer. Every single detail seems to have been thought of carefully. Everything from the organic bathroom soap to the aroma hidden under our pillow felt perfect. We were shown around a few other rooms and each were quite unique (with there specific theme). There was a relaxation area with showers and an impressive sauna for guests in the basement. To top it off the homemade breakfast we were served was absolutely perfect despite being offered at a bargain price.
I still can't really figure out how we ended up staying in such a little paradise while feeling lost in the middle of the German countryside.
Only low point is that the boutique hotel we stayed at during our next stopover felt lame in comparison!

Hotel mit viel Liebe

Wir waren jetzt schon einige mal Gast im Sevenoaks. Das Hotel ist fantastisch – jedes Zimmer ist individuell und liebevoll zu einem eigenen Thema eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich sofort herzlich willkommen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, und das Frühstück ist ausgesprochen lecker und mit vielen kleinen Details wunderschön angerichtet – ein Genuss fürs Auge und den Gaumen. Die Lage ist ebenfalls hervorragend, ganz nah an der Stadt. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Wie Zuhause oder sogar noch besser

Immer gerne wieder! Es gibt sogar eine sehr schöne und nicht zu kleine Sauna und einen Gymnastikraum, wo auch Yogakurse stattfinden, natürlich kostenlos. Hatte dort mehrere Nächte dienstlich in einem Appartement verbracht, aber sonst auch einzelne Übernachtung in den Hotelzimmers. Für beide Wohnart sind mit 5/5 Sterne zu bewerten.
