Value for money

I stayed at this hotel for a week in November. It is nicely maintained hotel with small and cozy rooms. It has good Wi-Fi and has TV in the room. It is about 1 km from Erlangen train station and about 200 meters from the nearest bus stop. Breakfast is optional and is reasonably priced. Checkin and checkout was smooth. Overall value for the money. It was a pleasant stay.

Pain teaches groans

The temperature in the building is reminiscent of a nuclear reactor where there are no more s to cool. If there was a double bunk bed in the room, I'd think it was a prison cell. If you want to sit in the toilet, you have to fold yourself in - and I'm not very tall. The decor is tasteless and cheapest - camping would have been more fun - but that's exactly what I wanted to avoid. Breakfast I didn't even consider due to the many, very good bakeries around the corner.
The location is very good and very positive is also the drinks vending machine with cool drinks at a small price.
The young women at the reception were always friendly but helpless.
35-40 EUR / night would be acceptable - so that is unfortunately an insufficient.
As a result of one of the very worst hotels I stayed in...

A great location and staff

A great hotel for a budget. Staff alway fantastic and breakfast worth it for the coffees alone. Rooms and shower room always clean. Over 2 buildings and both are great. Just watch out for the church bells on a Sunday

Perfect location and good price

I was here before COVID-19. December 2019. I worked at the Kopfklinik as a volunteer, so the location was perfect for me. It's also really close to the center. The staff was always very kind and tried to help as much as they could. The breakfast was simple, but good enough - only 5€ and you can have as much as you want. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the only thing that bothered me was that there was not a regular chair behind the desk, it was more like a small couch without the backrest. They didn't have any extra chairs. For most people that wouldn't be important, but as a student, I also had some uni work and studying to do. In general it was a good experience. I recommend. :)

This is good enough

It is clean, basic and a fair price. Nothing special, but for my week away was more than adequate. The breakfast is much the same, nothing too spectacular, but for five euros, what do you expect. A coffee and a sandwich in the bahnhof will cost more. The staff are lovely and they responded quickly to all enquires
