Returning once again

It is good reasons for returning to this nice hotel, perfectly located at the Munich airport. Nice sleep, clean room, welcoming staff and a bathtub!

Fine for an airport hotel stay

We had to stay at the Munich Airport Hilton because Lufthansa canceled our flight to the USA. The hotel is very convenient, the room was modern. The restaurant was great (excllent veal schnitzel )and lots of veggie options for my vegetarian partner.
We were worried about waking up the next morning and charging our phone/Ipad. Our converters were checked in our bag. The room has no USA plug point (not even in the bathroom), the USB connector is for USB only (not newer USB-C which is the standard now in Europe and USA). We asked at the front desk for a convertor, and they were of no help. For a business hotel at an airport, you would expect they would be able to easily accomodate this.
I rate this place as "average" and if you are at the airport and need a place to stay than it is great. As far as above average, or even exceptional, it has work to do.

Perfect airport hotel

Really enjoyed my stay at Hilton Munich Airport. We stayed in a King Executive Runway View which had windows on two sides giving great views of one of the runways there. The room was modern, clean and comfortable and is probably the rest room I have stayed in, in recent years and included an impressive bathroom which included both a bath and stand alone shower. The hotel is quite vast and there was a bit of a walk to the central area with the reception restaurant, but nothing that would phase most people. I loved that we could easily walk to Terminal 2 and the shops and restaurants between the terminals from the hotel. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Hotel was overbooked!
We had a 2 night reservation with breakfast all paid in advance. I messaged the hotel prior to our stay to let them know our flight arrived at midnight so we would be checking in late. We got to the hotel at 1 am and the told us they had overbooked the hotel. Almost 12 guests were out of a room.
The staff was nice and the sent us to the Hilton hotel in Munich center without any cost to us. The main issue is that we were traveling with a very tired baby, adding that unexpected 30 minute drive wasn't pleasant. Overall we were in a room more than an hour and a half later than expected.
Both hotels were ok and staff was really nice too, just take into consideration that they tend to overbook...

We love this hotel, it is our go to place when staying in Munich or even passing through the muc airport. The breakfast is amazing. Check in and out is so easy. The Mountain Spa is family friendly and great for kids to unwind. We used it as a family day for our family to reconnect while traveling. I would only say the problem we had was our power kept going out in the room, like a blown fuse or something. We will definitely come here again. Thank you for your amazing hotel.
