Great location , good breakfast , nicely equiped

We has a pleasant stay at this location, the host was friendly , the room was sizable and well equiped with all mod cons, decor was a personal thing. Breakfast was plentiful covering most tatses and requirements. There is no bar as its not a hotel , but there is a drinks fridge where you take what you want and pay later
The location was ideal for exploring locally

Superbly located for lovely Goslar but so unfriendly

10 minutes walk from the centre of Goslar so a great location. The proprietor attempts to converse in English but the limitation may be a contributing fact towards him seeming offhand and unfriendly a feature of all of the staff.The establishment is spotless, the breakfast limited particularly if you are not a bread eater. Parking is on a quiet street and no issue. Do note no toiletries are supplied an issue if you arrive after the shops have closed.

Short but Sweet

Attending Eurotier is one thing in Hannover, Germany. Finding last minute accommodation is another. Guesthouse Graul 'saved' me from sleeping in my car. Pleasant owners, clean and cosy place with a simple but fresh breakfast. Pricing great.

Nice place just a short distance from the city center

We walked from the train station to Gästehaus Graul, about 30'. Nice way to see the town on the way. Nice location between the town center and the mines (about another 30' nice walk).
The accommodations were very nice, clean and comfortable. An excellent typical German breakfast was served each morning with a hard boiled egg and a pot of coffee.
The only thing from me giving this place five stars was the "quietness" of the innkeeper, Joachim. We barely got 5 words out of him. Part of it was the language barrier - we speak advanced begginer German and he must be about the same level in English. It was not that he was not friendly, but just seemed shy and quiet. It would have been nice to have him asl about us and what we were looking for around Goslar.
Would recommend this place.

Nice stay

Stayed in a single bedroom and my brother had the same. No toilet in mine but there was in his but it was fine as it said this when booking. Mine had a sink in so that was fine. Great price as walking distance to town and easy to get to in car. Nice breakfast too. If I came to this town again I would stay here.
