Relax in black forest small town with lovely B&B and owner family,
I stayed there with my wife and 3 kids (8,5,3 years old) for three night. This was our highlight during 10 days Germany!
Good
1, Great atmosphere. The building was builtｔ in long time ago and authentic farm house. Lots of antique stuff inside. It is like small museum.
2,We got two rooms. One room is relatively big and with king bed, dining table, small kitchen, sofa. The other room has two single beds without a kitchen, So we basically stayed in big room together and used the other room only when sleeping. Big room has small but nice veranda (I came to know they have much pride on veranda). Very good atmosphere.
3, We had dinner at 1st night (you need usually order mal till morning time, but master lady made it for us as my kids were starving), which was good. The beer and wine also good. 3rd night (every Wednesday) was pizza day and we enjoyed pizza heated in their fireplace.
4, this is like farm-in accommodation and owner family have many livestock and farm. There was not many but simple activity, such as trampoline, bike, goats, chickens. In 3 minutes, walk, you have sliders.
5, Don’t forget to receive “Gutach card” from master lady, which you can enjoy discount (up to 50%) for activity around the town. We used sliders and Black Forest Open Air Museum. You need to stay min 2 night to get the card.
6,Master lady treated us very nice. She is super friendly and helpful although her English is not so perfect like me.
7,Breakfast is just so OK but white sausage was yummy.
8,The room rate is affordable (306EUR in Aug).
Bad
1, Not so much, no AC but we were able to survive in Aug.
2, No washing facility. I am OK pay for small charge but wanted to use laundry. There was no coil operated laundry and had to go Strasbourg.
3, Gutach is small town with population of just above 2000 people. We thought there was not much thing to do before arrived and we actually went Strasbourg, French. We had 3 nights but we needed 5 night to enjoy more. With Gutach card, you can enjoy more and we wish we had including “Car and watches Schramberg”

In the Heart of the Black Forest
A trio of us arrived in Gutach at the Waldebauernhof during the first week of June. If you've been in big cities, here is a small village where you can relax, listen to the birds and cows and other nearby farm animals. and just breath in the air. This B&B is in a farmstead that has been around for hundreds of years. We had a corner room just above the terrace. It was bright and cheery and very clean. Washrooms and showers are shared the cost for each of us for two nights, two breakfasts and their specialty pizza was 50 euros total. Really a great deal!
From our room, you could hear the laughter from folks enjoying a beer and good conversation on the terrace below so if you might chose another room. Loved the satisfying breakfast in the morning. If you are coming by car, no problem. We arrived by train and then bus. The connections are easy enough and not too complicated to figure out.
On Wednesday nights, Carola and her husband offer a home stone oven baked Zwiebelkuchen. Its a specialty with bacon, onions in a white cheesy sauce. From this comfortable home, we found it fairly uncomplicated to access other parts of the Gutach and Kinzig valley. We rented e-bikes from the Tourist office in Hornberg. This is an awesome way to get around from village to village. The location of the B&B is also within walking distance of the Volksmuseum!
I'd certainly recommend the Waldebauernhof.

Lovely B&B
Two of us stayed here for 5 nights, and felt very welcome. A lovely location, easy for exploring the area by car or public transport, and really friendly and attentive hosts. Food was available in the evenings, and was very inexpensive and delicious. Highly recommended!

Sehr sauberes Haus,die Zimmer sind klein aber fein ,super Matratzen ,sehr leckerer Cappuccino . Sind sehr herzlich empfangen worden ,das angebotene Essen war ausreichend und lecker . Jederzeit wieder

Weltklasse
Der Bauernhof ist eine sehr romantische Unterkunft, mit einem bombastischen Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Die Zimmer sind zwar etwas klein, aber modern und trotzdem gemütlich eingerichtet. Die sehr familiäre Atmosphäre und die Herzlichkeit der Herbergseltern ist grandios.
