Unfortunately, a great disappointment – stay cut short

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend the Hotel Lindemann.
The rooms are quite outdated and overall appear worn out. Upon entering, an unpleasant odor is noticeable, likely coming from the old carpet or furnishings. The rooms are extremely warm in the summer, as there is no air conditioning. While this is mentioned, it seems the rooms are not prepared before arrival – closed curtains or a fan could already make a significant difference here.
The bed linens were clean, but the beds themselves were completely worn out. Stained bed skirts, dirty walls, worn-out furniture, non-functioning lamps, and an old green carpet leave a poor impression. In some cases, the windows could not even be opened or tilted.
Technically, the hotel is also outdated. The televisions are old, and even public broadcasters like ARD and ZDF were encrypted and thus not receivable.
The bathroom is functional, but the cleanliness left much to be desired. The mirror was dirty upon our arrival, there were hairs in the bathroom, the silicone in the shower was moldy, and there were still residues of cleaning agents on the toilet seat. To make matters worse, a tile from the wall also fell on us while showering, which seemed to be only loosely wedged in place. The fixtures, shelves, and other accessories also appeared unclean and unpolished, showing clear signs of the previous guests – which unfortunately does not convey any love for detail in the overall impression.
Due to all these deficiencies, we decided to cut our stay short by one day. The combination of lack of cleanliness, the poor condition of the room, and the extreme heat made the stay unbearable for us. Sleeping was hardly possible. Since we also traveled with our pet, we were seriously concerned that it could suffer from heatstroke due to the high temperatures in the room.
We addressed the mentioned deficiencies at the reception before our departure. There, understanding was shown, and we were informed that discussions would be held with management. Additionally, it was promised that the reimbursement for the unused last night would be reviewed. However, to this day, we have received neither feedback nor a refund regarding this matter. For this reason, we feel compelled to share our experiences in this way.
Overall, the price-performance ratio does not meet expectations in any way from our perspective. A comprehensive renovation, significantly more attention to cleanliness, and better room preparation could greatly improve the stay. In its current form, we unfortunately cannot recommend the hotel.

Good for an overnighter.

I stayed here for a night with the family on our way south for our Summer vacation this year. For that purpose Lindemann Hotel is perfectly fine.
Room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom similarly so.
The place has Wifi, and the breakfast was fine.
Service was welcoming and efficient.
As for the location, this is well located for when you come by car. However, it's not the place to stay, if you expect to leave your car at the hotel, and walk everywhere from. You are in a commercial/industrial zone outside of the city center, and it's not walking distance.
I liked the firmness of the beds, but my wife found them too firm for her liking. But obviously that's a subjective issue.
This is one of those places that are perfectly fine to stay at for a night or two. But I don't think I'd care to spend an entire vacation holed up there.
I have no complaints about the hotel, but don't expect it to be something it isn't.
I'd stay here again, if I were to come through some other time, and need a place to sleep, before driving on again in the morning.

Very good for short stay

Very good for the price!
Our room (3 beds) was large and clean. Boring with the carpet. The TV was small but what do you need TV for these days .
The drain in the bathroom was a bit constipated, but other than that everything was very surprisingly positive.
Buffet breakfast with fruit, yoghurt, cereal, fresh bread, cheeses, eggs, vegetables etc.
We are happy

Friendly staff, good breakfast. Room was a bit outdated. I would recommend renovation and change mattresses and pillows (not too comfortable).
