Simple, quaint, special, nice

Remote and very nice is the mill in the Gelbachtal. Beautiful beer garden in the countryside with a plethora of furniture, partly shaded.
Nice menu card with everything you need. Good cake (TK) and delicious schnitzel. Senior very nice landlady, cozy and very relaxed.
Location and atmosphere are special.

Surprisingly delicious in the still golden autumn.

Perhaps for the last time this year we were able to eat lunch outside. There were pork and beef cheeks in a delicious brown sauce. These were super tender, a real treat. Lunch included a salad buffet. The salads were definitely all homemade, they were so tasty.
The restaurant is obviously very popular with motorcyclists. We will enjoy the German home cooking there more often in the future.

Paradies für Vogelbeobachter

Die Mühle liegt als einziges Gebäude im Tal. Sehr ruhig. Man kann direkt vor der Tür wandern gehen und der Tal ist für Vogelbeobachter interessant. Es gab ein Weidenmeise paar 100m vor der Tür und eine Wasseramsel bei der Brücke.

Einfache, ruhig gelegene Pension

Ich verbrachte 4 Nächte während einer der Hitzewellen in 2019 in der Bruchhauser Muhle. Da sie in einem Tal umgeben von Wald liegt, hat es nachts schön abgekühlt. Sie ist das einzige Gebäude im Tal, sprich es ist sehr ruhig dort (bis auf den manchmal sehr aufgeregten Hund im Hof).
Pension und Zimmer waren schon älter, aber alles war sauber und hat funktioniert. Bett war bequem, TV Programm ausreichend, WLAN ob der Abgelegenheit langsam.
Frühstück war OK, Auswahl beschränkt, Brötchen besser wie der Belag. Der Service war freundlich. Insgesamt ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Oase

Op onze reis naar Oostenrijk hier een tussenstop gedaan. Goed betaalbaar in het Duitse heuvel landschap gelegen deze oase van rust. Ruime kamers met aparte kinderkamer, zitje en grote badkamer. Alles in een hoeve net 5km buiten holzappel. Aan de L325 en de rivier de Gelbach. Redelijk ontbijt met heerlijke broodjes!
