Ottimo punto di partenza per visitare Amburgo anche se è a circa 30 minuti di macchina. Senza lodo e senza infamia.
Bagno piccolissimo, va bene per chi è di passaggio. In ogni caso personale gentile e stanza pulita.

Horrible experience, barely better than sleeping in your car.

I have never in my life been as uncomfortable, as I was, during my stay at this location. Not only do you have to call and wake up the reception, but you also get the worst room I ever even seen at the price of 85 Euro per night.
The towels were damp, smelling like they had not been washed since the last guests left. The beds were closer to something you would see the military use for soldiers, a grand total of 80cm wide, meaning that rolling over at any point would result in you ending up on the floor. The mattress was also rather thin/worn out, meaning that I felt the entire bedframe during my rests. The Bathroom in itself was nothing short of a nightmare! Being so small that you would have to scoot past the sink to take a seat on the toilet, leaving you with you knees pushing against the pipes and a sink pushed against your chest. Making a seated wipe nothing short of impossible. The drain was clogged, meaning you would have to shower for two minutes, with an additional two minutes of waiting for the water to drain, to avoid flooding the tiny bathroom. The mold on the ceiling really doing wonders for my asthma. Furthermore with no changing of towels, or restocking of toilet paper, I had to go ask for more. The listing on Hotels.com claims the rooms to be soundproof, but after the first night I could hear the room next to me snore, I highly doubt that to be remotely true. Finally, not a single sink, microwave or kettle in sight, nor a closet.

Cheap bedding, poor quality, poor service

I was sleeping over in the SchalfHutte as a part of a Business trip. It was booked because of the convenient price. But the bedding (sheets, abd blanket covers) have been washed with too much softener, room wasnt cleaned before we came in (had to wait 20 min to get prepared even tho on time there). The material of the bedding had cheap plastic/nylon feeling, smelling of too much softener. Mattress was not comfortable and the coushins has worn out feeling. Beds are narrow (80 cm?) Not recommended if you expect middle quality sleep. Reception was not reachable by phone. After 3rd call I woke somebody form a sleep, and he was not happy about it. Well whom can I ask for a receipt and checkout??
