Great staff and atmosphere
The room was basic but clean, comfy bed and lots of space and was nice and warm in the cold weather. A perk of staying during carnival week also meant that there was a complimentary doughnut!
Lovely hot (over bath) shower and the complimentary toiletries were a nice surprise.
There was a restaurant within the hotel that had a good menu, and the food smelt very good, but didn't get chance to eat there.
Breakfast looked good and my colleague commented on how good the scrambled eggs with pancetta was but this was something I skipped.

best place to relax .. very calm and clean
The breakfast is the best .. lot of options....
cons: Due to nature of the location, the doors of the room after cleaning are kept open.. so be careful that you do not keep valuables in the room.

Das gebuchte Apartment war vergeben
Wir haben anlässlich einer Jubiläumsfeier in Korschenbroich hier ein Apartment gebucht.
Am Anreisetag um 18:00 Uhr teilt uns die Vermieterin mit, dass das Apartment schon "seit Wochen" vergeben sei. Sie hat es aber nicht für nötig befunden, uns wenigstens über ihre eigenmächtige "Änderung" zu informieren.
Sie will uns ein einfaches Doppelzimmer anbieten, das nun überhaupt nicht unseren Vorstellungen entspricht: Zu klein, kein Balkon, keine Kaffeemaschine etc.
Nach letztlich unschönem Wortwechsel wurden wir dann des Hauses verwiesen - und konnten uns für den Abend / die Nacht ein anderes Zimmer besorgen. Eigentlich wollten wir ja um 19:00 bei der Jubiläumsfeier sein ...
