A really great break!
We stayed at Langeoog for the first time and the place was just great. Starting from the reception, the service, the cleanliness, breakfast.. everything really top. The coffee tasted great, the selection for breakfast left nothing to be desired and it is very much paid attention to quality. Our room was large, with separate toilet and balcony and here too we were more than pleasantly surprised. We also enjoyed the spa area very much. We will definitely come back.

An almost perfect stay
As Ostrfiesland fans, we stopped by Logierhus this year for our island visits to the beautiful island of Langeoog. After thorough research in advance (spa wellness and pool a must) we have decided on this. At the prices we really had to swallow a lot in advance because, experienced by our previous trips on the other islands and even on the mainland in 5 stars (!!!) Hotels in some cases have paid significantly less. So definitely a clear announcement with which of course the expectations of the guest also increase. Seen like that, a give and take.
Since we arrived on an early ferry (11.30 am), we of course did not expect to be able to move into the rooms already. But here we were positively surprised. We were greeted very friendly and accommodating and informed about the service of the hotel. That our occupied room then unfortunately had a torn sofa and a defective light strip behind the bed was then unfortunately not such a good start. But the question is how a hotel handles it. It must be said here at the outset that, in our case, a prompt response was given. Everything was discussed and, due to the occupancy, we were offered another room for the coming day. Worth noting that the first night was relaxing at least for my wife as I apparently caught on the "wrong side" of the bed a mattress with a distinct cull which did my back little good.
But it's good that words were followed by action and we were actually relocated. The upholsterer could thus devote himself calmly to the sofa while you also wanted to change the mattress. From then on it could only go uphill! After an extensive super tasty breakfast (really great selection!) we wanted to explore the island and try out the wellness area in the evening.
Said done. In the evening we went to the wellness area. First of all, we noticed the very clean condition (a critical hygiene area in hotels with spa areas). Unfortunately, the pool was an all-in-one offering with integrated bubble area (with steel loungers) and countercurrent system. So no "normal swimming" with extensive swimming movements possible. Maybe therefore no real pool photo was stored. But that's a little high-level moaning now. What is offered is easily usable and serves its purpose. With the saunas you can always disagree about the size. But in terms of the size of the hotel also sufficient here. What was unfortunately a little unpleasant is the fact that not all functions, also described in detail in the house flyer, worked without restriction. The pitfalls of technology, if much is to run automatically. My wife and I would have loved to be animated with Pavarotti's singing in the otherwise great shower. But he had at least a break from broadcasting during our stay. Even in the steam cabins, despite the descriptions, it did not reveal to us why with "refreshing fog" woefully warm rain occurred while one or the other button just did not want to trigger any function at all.
Anyone who has read attentively so far will now surely understand why no 5-star rating was achieved in the end. But let us still mention it again in summary:
* Great hotel with attentive and very friendly staff
* Beautiful acceptable wellness area, which if everything works without exception, can contribute very nicely to relaxation
* Great very nicely furnished rooms (some with balcony) with ample storage facilities, with us also with separate toilet
* Super tasty breakfast with rich selection, the possibility to choose e.g. fried egg, soft boiled egg and omelette and of course also prosecco on every day
* In the afternoon delicious coffee - and cake in the in-house cafe
* And don't forget the in-house free yoga and Pilates offers (thanks for that! A great start to the morning was our "little intimate yoga lesson!)
* Another great offer we liked to use was the sea buckthorn tasting with Mrs. Schlüter. Wonderfully authentic, funny and educational at the same time.
So to Mrs. Schäfer and the great team at Logierhus: You are absolutely on the right track. It may not always be perfect but the way you bring it to the guest is GREAT!
We would love to come back and then it will certainly be the "point landing"!

Recommended except for dinner
Nice hotel, larger tasteful bedroom, beds ok, very nice spa, good breakfast.
Unfortunately, the room was right above the restaurant, so very noisy,
The dinner was unfortunately so bad that we had stomach problems on the 2nd day.

Completely relaxed days
Cleanliness, niceness, dinner, yoga and back fitness, wellness and breakfast buffet all first cream. Also the saunas and the relaxation room. there was nothing to complain about. Also the waiver of room cleaning, if desired, we found great. Those who complain about it didn't understand.

Very comfortable, newer hotel, nicely appointed and very well designed. Hotel has a nice spa area with a small pool and various saunas.
Great breakfast buffet for a hotel of this size. 5 minute walk to Langeoog's very nice beaches, 2 minutes walk to the small city center.
