My two adult children, my husband, and I stayed in a Comfort Double on the 5th floor. Having access to an elevator was important to us and it worked well. We stayed for two nights and it was an excellent experience. I chose it primarily for easy access to the main train station and local city tram/bus service and was thrilled with the outcome. The location could not have been better! There was a little street noise from a tram running through the night on the street below, but I think the benefit of easy access to it far outweighed the small amount of noise. The room was clean and nicely sized. We did not have time to use the cooking facilities, but I really appreciated having the extra sink. It was very hot during our stay and I really appreciated the A/C, if a little loud. I highly recommend this hotel!

BEWARE this hotel is the pits, it needed to be reassessed by TripAdvisor
Batu Apart Hotel…The transfer driver dropped me off there, and left. I couldn’t find the entrance to the hotel, but there was a sign on the outside wall of the building indicating that was where the hotel was. A man was coming out of a door (he confirmed this was the hotel) and let me in. Apparently, you need a code to get in as reception is only manned between 10am-3pm. The front door closed behind me, and I was alone in a corridor that looked like people lived there as there were mailboxes on the wall. The man said there was a lift up to reception (this place looked really seedy and made me uncomfortable). So, I went up in the lift (which only went to the first floor), but I could not find reception. I appeared to have come out of the lift at the back of the building, where all the rubbish bins were. The only room I could find was a laundry. So, I went back to the lift and back to the ground floor. A lady came down the stairs while I was on the ground floor. Her appearance made me a bit scared (rather like an addict). I thought maybe the entrance was around the corner of the street. So, I propped the door open with a wedge that was already there to stop it closing. But no luck around the corner, so I went back to the propped open door. I had just got inside when a young man on a bike arrived. He must have known who I was as he said I was early. He took me to a scruffy room on the first floor which I gathered was the reception. The whole room was no bigger than 3 x 3 metres. There were scruffy couches, fans and general rubbish in there, together with a jug etc I guess for his coffees!!
I have never seen anything like it, so I took some sly photos of the place. At this point I felt rather scared and wanted an excuse to get out of there. So, I said I was not comfortable or happy and that I didn’t want to stay there. I didn’t feel safe at all, and he said I couldn’t have a refund if I decided to leave. I got out of there quickly to try and find somewhere else to stay.

The hotel is located very close to the Hauptbahnhof which is very convenient but the area is also quite noisy starting especially early in the morning (6.00 AM) when the streetcars start. We were on the fifth floor.
The room was large. The small kitchenette was a nice to have, even thought we didn't use it. Room was clean, and the pull-out bed (we were three) was very comfortable. The downside is there is no formal reception area. Entry is managed with key codes for the building and the room. We would have liked to hear their local dining recommendations. We also wanted to check in an hour early, but did not receive a response to our email prior and did not locate a reception desk. The signage for the reception desk is on the first floor on the stairs. One won't see it unless one takes the stairs; but the entry from the street on the ground floor is a narrow hallway with a rear door leading to the elevator.

BATU Apart Hotel locate in the center of the city. That make it a great location for you to explore Munich not to mention it only two minutes from the central station where you can use the train to go and explore nearby cities. In our visit, we don’t need a car from the hotel we can go with it place like Rotenberg

Room was huge. It was super nice. Very classy. I could’ve stayed there forever. Two small things, which aren’t a big deal at all. One, I booked it last second and something happened with my email and I didn’t get the instructions on how to get into the hotel (it’s self check-in), so I had to call. It was a little stressful at first, but it got solved in like 10-15 minutes. Also, I think it’s cuz of my email so not even their fault. Secondly, the bidet was half broken. Water came out, but not at the right “angle” haha. It was a great place! Definitely stay here.
