Hotel not recommended
Starting from the assumption that we arrived without a reservation. We paid 50 euros per person per night, even though it cost less on Booking. The hotel is frequented by dodgy people and drug addicts, our room was very dirty, I'll spare the details. The hotel is close to the center but has no services in the surrounding area. The Host does not speak English, and check-out is impossible due to the lack of staff in the reception early in the morning. Not recommended

Hotel infested with bed bugs
Be careful, this hotel is infested with bed bugs. When night falls, dozens come out on beds, curtains and walls. Since it was too late to look for another hotel, we put our luggage in the car and tried to sleep there. During the night, we killed about fifty bed bugs and were bitten multiple times. We left the hotel the next morning when we were to spend two nights there. Back at our home, we are in the process of processing all our luggage, clothes and the like to avoid infesting our home. The hotel refuses to reimburse us for the second night paid in advance.

A Doss House rather than a hotel
I stayed at the Pension Asta for 3 nights in August ‘22 with my wife and two children during our stay in Munich, which was the last stop on our mini tour of Italy, Austria and Germany.
I’ll start with the only positive - Asta is a one minute walk to the main Hauptbahnhof train station. Very handy and a short walk to the central tourist attractions too.
I booked this hotel on Booking.com as the price seemed most reasonable for a place so central. The hotel took the payment from my card two weeks prior to our arrival when this was meant to be a pay on arrival deal. No prior warning was given. I submitted a case through Booking but the hotel simply said they’d explain to us on our arrival, which they didn’t. Immediately I felt like we’d made a mistake booking this place, I should have cancelled then….alas I took a gamble and stuck with it. How I regret sticking with the booking now.
The hotel is very run down. There are not many rooms, it’s one floor in a wider building that is more akin to the Trainspotting flats. It’s a run down building with various people outside of the hotel coming and going.
An error on my part saw us have a room with a shared bathroom, which puts you at the mercy of whoever went in the bathroom before you. The smell from the toilet travels down the corridor.
There is no air conditioning in the rooms. It was August and the rooms were baking hot at night, the windows therefore needed to be open. The big issue is that this ‘hotel’ sits on a very busy, noisy street. Lots of traffic all through the night and lots of degenerates shouting, singing and arguing. This alone prevented us from getting sleep during our nights there.
The other factor making this a truly poor experience and the worst night’s sleep is the hotel door bell. The speaker for the door bell is in the hotel corridor and very loud. It rings several times throughout the night. Presumably because this is also a residential block of flats with people pressing wrong buttons on the intercom outside. So if the heat or noise aren’t keeping you awake at night, the door bell will.
On our last night, the bell rang at 2am but got stuck, so it was like a fire alarm was constantly running for 10 minutes. As there’s seemingly never any staff there it was left to us guests to come out into the corridor and try to solve the problem.
It’s not a hotel, it’s more of a Doss House. You just get a bed, no sleep and the staff don’t appear to ever be around. This is more of a hostel-type accommodation best suited for young backpackers (although it’s not hostel prices). For our well travelled family, this was probably our poorest experience ever.
3 nights of no sleep meant my family were left exhausted and unable to enjoy Munich in the way we should.

OK for the price
The room was cute and clean. The shared bathroom experience was fine although the bathrooms could have been a little cleaner. Someone ringing the doorbell in the middle of the night or the rooms full of guys being loud made this review just average.

It's not a hotel or bed and breakfast, it's only bed!
It's a cheap property. However , it has nothing only good location. the room is very old and small.
They did not give you breakfast ! I can not say it's not clean. The location is perfect' but you can find better hotel I think
