Great experience in Müllheim in Markgräflerland Land
Absolutely quiet location.
Warm welcome from the landlady.
Rooms are tastefully decorated.
Excellent cleanliness.
Breakfast is generous, rich and made from regional ingredients.
The hostess is a road bike expert and knows the laps in the immediate and wider area.

Excellent maintained hotel
On the way to Italy, this is an excellent address to keep the journey pleasant. Mullheim is a beautiful historic town with within walking distance a beautiful center with some excellent restaurants where we enjoyed a really good German mahlzeit on the advice of the hotelier. Next day after a delicious breakfast left relaxed so we could connect nicely in time for the tunnel. If the waiting time is shorter than the actual tunnel passage then you are good.
Overall a great overnight hotel where you can also stay longer.

Lucky to stay here
We checked a few hotels in the city center and luckily they were all booked full.
So we ended up just outside the center (7 min walk) in this very nice and seemingly brand new hotel. Very friendly hosts and spacious, quiet and clean rooms. Breakfast was a treat too with a personal touch.
An ideal location to stay for a longer period if you want to hike or bike in the area.
We were so lucky the other hotels were fully booked. They seemed more “have been” locations. This stay I enjoyed and will certainly revisit next time I go to Italy by car.

Sehr schönes Hotel in ausgezeichneter Lage - Bravo!
Ein sehr schönes Zimmer, funktionales Bad, eine kleine Küche, Terrasse mit Möbeln und Sonnenschutz, Parkplatz am Haus und ein abgeschlossener Stellplatz für unsere Räder - es war eigentlich alles perfekt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das leckere Frühstück, von den Inhabern selbst zubereitet und mit lokalen Produkten bestückt. Sehr schmackhaft! Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, der Zimmerservice top. Toll ist auch der grosse Garten mit Liegestühlen unter alten Kirschbäumen. Die Lage ist ruhig, aber in nur wenigen Minuten Fussweg zum Zentrum von Müllheim oder auch zum Freibad. Müllheim ist günstig gelegen für Touren - per Auto, Rad oder zu Fuss - in die umliegenden Ortschaften, den Schwarzwald, das Elsass oder die Städte Freiburg und Basel.
Nicht genutzt haben wir den hauseigenen Innenpool sowie Sauna - es war vom Wetter her schon heiss genug...
