An excellent choice

Our reception was very friendly and although we arrived late after reception time, the boss received us personally. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. We can only praise and recommend the Hotel Post Murnau. A really very good choice with a great service.

Great hotel, but.....

Not a bad hotel in itself, great rooms with good showers, also nice and helpful staff.
There are a few disadvantages, the parking is limited, and the breakfast we did not love.
Breakfast in itself has plenty of choice, but the sandwiches are dry and the range of sandwiches is limited, you get a jug of coffee at the table, but the coffee was unfortunately much too weak!
All in all not a top, but is of course only 3 stars, maybe you can not expect everything.

Beautiful historic hotel

An absolutely beautiful small hotel packed with history and interesting features. Friendly and really helpful staff. Rooms are lovely, bed very comfortable and the cleaning excellent. Your room is always cleaned early so you can come back to it at any time. Breakfast choice good with personal table service for coffee and eggs.

Three nights at the Traditions Hotel Post in Murnau am Staffelsee

Spent 20243 days in August at Traditions Hotel Post in Murnau.
The staff were all very nice and helpful.
Breakfast was excellent, great selection always fresh fruit and also always the choice of an egg dish. Also, there were always two fresh cappuccinos every day.
Unfortunately, the rooms are very warm as neither fans nor air condition available
