Nice - Price too high
Price but with about 100€/person/night (half board) on mattress and quite expensive drinks yet too high.
But nan also gets a bed in a good Pension.
Staff very friendly

Die Wannenkopfhütte ist ein urige Berghütte inmitten der Allgäuer Alpen. Sie wurde im Jahre 1930 erbaut und hat seither Ihre Originalität und Ursprünglichkeit beibehalten. Trotzdem muss man auf den notwendigen Komfort wie Warmwasser und Strom nicht verzichten.
Bei einer Übernachtung ist die Halbpension mit einem reichhaltigen Frühstück vom Buffet und ein leckeres Vier-Gang-Abendmenü in Buffetform inklusive. Der Übernachtungspreis ist je nach Zimmer / Bett und Saisonzeit unterschiedlich, liegt jedoch auch in unserer absoluten Hochsaison nie bei 100 € pro Person / Nacht. Gerne kannst Du Dich nochmals persönlich bei uns melden, dann können wir dies gemeinsam anschauen.

Child and guest friendly hut with very tasty food!
It was very remarkable how much time the owner took for the guests, especially the children.
Hospitality and child-friendliness are still very important here!
We will be back!

Wir freuen uns, dass Euch unser Essen geschmeckt hat und Ihr mit Eurem Zimmer und der Sauberkeit zufrieden wart. Dass Euch die Zeit zwischen Frühstück und Abendessen zu lange war, tut uns leid. Kommt doch gerne das nächste Mal direkt vor Ort auf uns zu und wir finden gemeinsam eine Lösung. Meist sind unsere Gäste tagsüber unterwegs in den Bergen, aber wir haben auch immer Getränke und Snacks verfügbar.

Beautiful location
It was steep but relatively short (20 minutes or so) from the roadside parking up to the huts location
The bed was comfortable and warm, the hut food was hearty and typical for the region.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and made the stay very pleasurable
The hut itself is basic but has everything you ned for a great stay in the mountains
