Excellent

Located very well for trams and buses to central Potsdam and easy links to the S-Bahn for Berlin. Breakfast was offered with a wide variety of choices. The staff were pleasant and efficient and the room was clean and fully served its purpose.

Almost perfect

Don't be fooled by the surroundings or the area (which is a bit boring), this hotel is new and fresh and super nice to stay at. From check-in (thanks to John for superb service) to check-out everything was perfect. The room (1124) was large and good with an extra bed - there were two of us and a small dog - but there was more than enough space.
The breakfast buffet was perfect and the staff were quick to clean up and service was constantly being provided so there were always fresh things to choose from - you don't leave hungry from breakfast.
The area is, as written, a bit boring: Not many places to eat and apart from Restaurant Mirabell, which is located in the same building (and can be recommended) there are not many places to go.
However, the hotel has a bar at an affordable price, so
Hampton by Hilton Potsdam Babelsberg wins on the high standard, the price, the breakfast and not least the sublime service. Can only recommend if you are in the area and, for example, are going to the Babelsberg Film Studios.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent stay – highly recommended!

Our stay at Hampton by Hilton Potsdam Babelsberg was excellent all round. The hotel impresses with its modern, stylish design and a very pleasant atmosphere.
The staff was friendly, attentive and helpful throughout – from check-in to check-out, you felt welcome and well looked after. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortably furnished, with comfortable beds and very good facilities that leaves nothing to be desired.
Also to be highlighted is the rich breakfast: large selection, fresh produce and very good quality – a perfect start to the day. The location of the hotel is also ideal: well connected, quiet and yet quick in Potsdam or Berlin.
Overall an excellent hotel with very good value for money. We will come back anytime and can recommend the Hampton by Hilton Potsdam Babelsberg without restriction.
Our special thanks go to the General Manager for her extraordinary commitment.
The extremely hardworking, passionate&present manner really impressed us!

Warning!

We arrive at 7 PM and find out that the rooms are not ready. We also find out that AC does not work.
We then ask to cancel and to get a receipt that we do not have to pay anything which we get.
Later when Booking wants confirmation that we will not pay Hampton by Hilton refuses even though we have receipts telling us to get our money back. We had booked three rooms for two nights at a cost of 850 euros which they want to keep even though we didn't even check in.
I end up having to go from Berlin back to Potsdam to sort it out on the spot and then I finally get my money back. It took me a whole day of my vacation to rule with this. Can really not recommend this to anyone.

The hotel is a little way out of the centre of Potsdam, but access is easy with plenty of regular buses. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly and efficient. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of food which was always kept topped up. I'd definitely recommend this hotel.
