Super located hotel with small mistakes
The hotel is located right in the middle of the city very central. In the rear area there is an easily accessible parking lot. Our room was quite small but cozy. The bed was good and comfortable. The bathroom was small but functional. Unfortunately, the bathroom had no radiator, so it was very cold there. The breakfast buffet was fine. The staff were quite friendly, but there is still room for improvement. For the room with breakfast the price of 150 € was too high.

3-star city hotel with great restaurant
The Hotel Stadt Kassel was our choice for a visit to the restaurant "Fachwerk" (highly recommended!) directly in the house. The hotel offers renovated rooms that meet the standard. Room decor with bed, armchair and desk absolutely ok, as well as the bathroom.

Excellent restaurant in a good hotel
This time I have to leave the restaurant because it gave me one of the best dinners of the year. The chef is part of the jeunes restaurateurs and you can see it right away. The duck was excellent, accompanied by a kind of potato pie. Also the welcome from the kitchen was very good. The only note I would make is about draft beer, I would have chosen local breweries (which offer instead only in the bottle...).
The room is modern and functional, here I can recommend paying attention to the cleanliness of the headboard. Having the light grazing, you could see a layer of dust unsympathetic for those like me who are allergic.
The bathroom could also be cleaned more thoroughly as there was some hair in the shower. Apart from that, the shower, although not brand new, had a very pleasant jet.
Breakfast appropriate to the category.

Great hotel in central Rinteln
The hotel is located right in the historic centre of the fortified town of Rinteln. The hotel has a modern entrance and a friendly reception. The hotel consists of several buildings. I wasn't in the main house but in an annex a short walk away. The rooms are a bit dated. Fabric carpeting and I had a fairly simple (slatted) bed with quite hard mattress. The room is spacious but the bathroom quite small with a shower that got hot with difficulty. Breakfast is good and extensive. An evening in the restaurant eaten and that was also fine.

City of Kassel in Rinteln worth a visit
We are kayakers and often participate in the Weserbergland rally from Rinteln to Minden. So we became aware of the hotel. Meanwhile, we have been here for the fourth time and were very satisfied each time. The rooms are adequately sized, nicely decorated, with nice bathroom. Alles top. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was just amazing.
The charging stations for electric cars, which we were happy to use, are now new.
The only downer this time was the very crowded parking lots.
Overall an excellent hotel.
