Great hotel, I recommend it.

Very beautiful hotel, well laid out, the pool is well heated, the setting and the welcome are friendly. Quiet and hearty meals. Very good breakfast. Highly recommended.

Relaxation

The rooms are very nice and even have a balcony.
The pool is very well maintained, and so is the sauna. There were always towels available, and the pool could also be used in the evenings.
However, the information on the day of arrival leaves much to be desired. Although nothing was happening. We had to ask several questions.
The breakfast was very extensive and delicious.

Es freut uns sehr, dass Ihnen Ihr Zimmer mit Balkon, unser Schwimmbad- und Saunabereich sowie unser Frühstück so gut gefallen haben. Schön ist auch, dass Sie die langen Öffnungszeiten des Pools und die jederzeit verfügbaren Handtücher positiv wahrgenommen haben.
Vielen Dank ebenso für Ihren Hinweis zur Anreise. Es tut uns leid, dass Sie sich nicht von Anfang an ausreichend informiert gefühlt haben. Das entspricht nicht unserem Anspruch. Ihr Feedback nehmen wir gerne zum Anlass, unsere Abläufe beim Check-in noch einmal mit dem Team zu besprechen, damit sich unsere Gäste vom ersten Moment an bestens aufgehoben fühlen.

A wonderful stay in the greenery with the characteristic Black Forest flair.

We were warmly welcomed by a young, competent staff member at check-in. In general, one can say that the staff here is extremely friendly and helpful. We specifically looked for a hotel where our little terrier would feel comfortable, and we were not disappointed. The surroundings invited us to hike and bike; since we were unfamiliar with the area, a receptionist immediately recommended beautiful hiking trails and events. Afterward, we relaxed in the beautiful sauna or the swimming pool. It is also worth highlighting the truly good food; you can tell that it is well-seasoned and homemade, and there is something for every palate. Great praise to the kitchen. My highlight was the spaetzle schnitzel, also recommended by the friendly service staff. This will certainly not be our last visit; one can really feel at home here. I can only highly recommend it.

A true insider tip in the Black Forest.

Our stay at the Ring Hotel Sonnenhof in Schönmünzach was completely successful. What will particularly remain in our memory is the exceptional hospitality and warmth of the entire team – you truly feel welcome from the very first moment. The quiet location in the midst of nature ensures absolute relaxation, and the hotel also impressed us culinary-wise – the food was consistently excellent.
You can also tell that a lot of commitment and attention to detail is continuously being invested in the property. Step by step, the Sonnenhof is developing into a true insider tip with a very special charm. We felt very comfortable and would gladly return.

Just wonderful

We had a wonderful time at the Ringhotel Sonnenhof! We arrived as a couple with our little poodle and felt very welcome from the first moment – and this was especially true for our dog. In the room everything was lovingly prepared for him, which surprised us really positively.
The whole team was incredibly friendly and attentive. As Muslim guests, we also felt in good hands – our needs were taken for granted during the meal, without it feeling complicated or special. This was really special for us and made the stay even more enjoyable.
The surroundings are also fantastic – we could take great walks and just relax in the swimming pool.
For us it is clear: We will definitely come back – and bring our family next time!
