There were spiders, and no A/C, extreme temperature inside.
All else was great.
Breakfast was very nice.
Technical Museum was exceptional.

Good location, but no A/C

Good location close to the museum and 10 minutes from town.
Good breakfast, but not above average.
Rooms do not have air condition so at least at west facing rooms sleeping in summer is bad.
Bathroom rather old, but clean.

Hotel spread over several buildings.

This is a hotel that consists of several buildings. The rooms are reasonable and sober but clean. The building where we stayed had no elevator. Breakfast in the central building and was good. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Musty former barracks rooms at an overpriced price!!!

Musty barracks rooms at an overpriced price!!!
What is cheered here as a place to stay is just a cheek!
The alleged "hotel" is an old, former, provisionally renovated "barracks building".
At the reception desk you first stand your feet in your stomach. This is the main point of contact for all people who want to arrive in their motorhome/caravan and check in at the campsite next to it.
As for the rooms:
What we noticed here in terms of obvious shortcomings, little by little, we found at some point unacceptable!
* Jumped floor bathroom tile in the entrance area (risk of injury!)
* dark, long hair in bed (not from us!)
* no refrigerator
* no safe in the room (that there is an alternative external possibility at the reception was nowhere visible to us)
* Bathroom toilet door not lockable/not tight
* Corner of the bed close to the wall (threat of impact! several times we painfully banged our leg there)
* Bathroom has virtually no storage facilities
* no SoftClose toilet lid (noise from the next room if the toilet lid is dropped several times at night)
* Loud soundscape (trampling and loud conversations) early in the morning in the hallway (our night was thus ended early)/ -> Noise insulation missing!
* instead of air conditioning, a cheap "no-name" hardware store fan is in the corner
* Burn holes in the curtain
* Curtains provide absolutely no light protection. As soon as it gets light outside, the room is brightly lit.
* the wood of the bathroom door frame is damaged looks like gnawed off in the lower area
* Surfaces damaged on furniture
* Bed is on the side of the wall, less than 40 cm away (in case of emergency or an escape attempt in case of fire you have a huge problem here!
* Rust on bathroom radiator

Due to a longer arrival the day before, we planned to sleep in the morning the following day. However, that was impossible after we were rudely woken up by a loud soundscape in the hallway.
Here you have early morning real "barracks feeling"!
Next to the catastrophic room, we just continued with the guide:
Again, there is an urgent need for improvement!
Besides the aspect that only until 10 am!!! Breakfast is offered, the selection was very minimalist and qualitatively underground!
People arriving late in the evening have only a very small window for breakfast in the morning.
The hotel is usually located R. a selection of fresh fruits, sweet coffee particles, cakes, etc.
These things were missing altogether; as was cheese that had gone out in the meantime and was not replenished.
The only thing that worked here was that you were told by a service person (an elderly lady) at 10:00 a.m. on time that breakfast time was over and that you should please leave the breakfast area.
Since the boss in charge was on vacation at the time, we took the trouble and claimed the whole thing by email.
What came back could not be beaten in arrogance and unprofessionalism!
No insight whatsoever; let alone accommodation!
The boss should definitely cut off a slice at his reception staff. They were friendly at all times; even if they only made "good mine to bad game" here.
This "hotel" shamelessly exploits the proximity to the Technology Museum to attract tourists with a glossy Internet presentation and then swoop across the table in moderation!
Every hostel has more flair!

Not the best and hygienic hotel

The location is good. However, the room I was given smelled extremely of cigarettes. I asked for another room. That one didn't smell, however there were big silverfish in that room. When I left my used and dirty towel on the floor to get a new one (as the instructions in the room say), the same towel was folded and offered as "new". I got back late that night and only realised after already having taken a shower, so I ended up not being able to use a towel.
The breakfast, on the other hand, was quite good.
