Chronological breakdown of the negative points noticed at this accommodation.
1. Parking and vehicle situation:
Regardless of the hard-to-find parking area / underground garage - the space in it is for an approx. 20-room hotel.
The alternative underground garage is as easy to find as a needle in a haystack.
Nevertheless: 12 Euro parking fee (not included in the hotel price)
2. Check-in:
After a patient phase of 10 minutes with a guest ahead who was processed with audibly poor English skills, it was then my turn.
After the personal details were requested, one was directed to their room with a certain lack of discretion.
Particularly noteworthy is the friendliness of the staff, who spoke to one while wearing AirPods in their ears. (Irony off)
3. Room:
After reaching the floor and finding the room, one could imagine the rest of the evening upon looking around and seeing large bloodstains a few doors down.
Only to then discover with surprise that instead of the booked Superior Suite, one received a 4-bed family room.
When asked why: We are fully booked. Info: Booked less than 24h ago.

Strange furnishings with some broken items (lamps) that are either broken or do not work at all.

Minibar is empty - fantastic.

No assessment possible, as we are just now going to sleep.

Highly overrated not a 4 star hotel, only 2-3 star. Price and quality do not go hand in hand

-Price and quality are not related. The hotel is long from 4 stars as stated on booking.com 2-3 stars Max
- Sauna doesn't work.
- There was a day without hot water. - The hotel did not respond to our complaint or has given compensation

Did not take the breakfast service.
Phone of the hotel was down all day, could not contact them to book the hotel parking facilities.

Also fundamentally satisfied even on repeated occasions.

We have been guests at the Lübecker Hof several times, even when it was still under Golden Tulip. However, after the change of ownership, some renovations have already taken place. We consider this to be very positive. The overnight prices are still very moderate. We had a larger room. However, I find the price for breakfast to be very high at €19.50 per person. The location is somewhat outside of the Lübeck center, but it is very well accessible via the bus connection near the hotel. In the nearby area, there are some very good restaurants, including Donna Rosa, an Italian restaurant in the hotel, and Kaizen, a Japanese restaurant across from the hotel. Additionally, there are cafes nearby. All in all, we were satisfied again this time and will definitely return.
Negative: Breakfast is way too expensive at €19.50 per person.
