Good, quiet hotel

After a very nice welcome, we moved into our room. It was large, as was the bathroom, and very clean. It even had a refrigerator in the room. The pool was nice with enough lounge chairs around it.
There were also plenty of parking spaces.
The breakfast was very extensive and good.

Older, worn and could be better experience

We stayed one night at this hotel during our car vacation and had booked long in advance. We arrive at 15.10 (check in at 15), where that one room is not ready since we had booked two and according to the reception must wait 30 min before the room next to the other is ready. After 30 minutes we get a room a bit at a time. This room has defective air conditioning and shower, so we get another room. Here is air conditioning but in an older and old monster room that sounds wild. Room and hotel are generally older and worn out. And the other room was drained by the floor so that water would run out. Indoor pool closed due to renovation, but outdoor pool open and nice for cooling in the 30 degrees we had. However, the pool area was closed and the indoor bar opened at 17:30, as well as the drinks machine was half empty. We had also called the day in advance to book dinner at the hotel's restaurant but they could only offer a table at 21.30 due to the crowd and many bookings, which we could not with a smaller child - so we had to find food out in town. El lader at the hotel worked fine. Bed ok to sleep in. Morning quite nice and with good variations and something for everyone.

Terrible, shame on the Leonardo chain

We booked the hotel for 4-5 Aug and 13-14 Aug in transit. Room was dirty, black critters walked into the room from the hallway, bathroom with black mold, hair on the floor, bedding with nose purges, air conditioning unit sounded like you had to sleep in a plane. The indoor pool and sauna were out of service. Receptionist was very unfriendly and curt. We were fobbed off or not followed. For example, we called from the room to the reception for reservation for dinner, we come into the restaurant to hear no hear no reservation known. Other people were offered breakfast for FREE at the reception of the hotel while we paid an extra 20 euros per person through you! I have deposited everything with the hotel and indicated that we do not want to return on the return trip and want to cancel the booking from 13-14 Aug with a refund. Refund request has been denied by the hotel. It sucks!!!

Anytime and gladly again.

If you want to go on vacation and your partner is in a wheelchair, this hotel is an absolute winner. Large room, barrier-free, large bathroom, excellent location for the city of Heidelberg, super staff, super breakfast, staff always accommodating, outdoor pool was an excellent way to cool off on the hot days. Indoor pool is currently being renovated. It is also accessible by wheelchair. This hotel is absolutely recommended.
