Beatiful hotel in a gorgeus city!

This hotel, has all the details to make the stay as good as possible for the guest, the breakfast is completed and the products are first category.
i did not use the swimming pool but seemed to be nice.
In my room the wifi was not very good. I had a very big appartment.

Cancellation due to inefficiency of the hotel operator..... very strange....after 1 year prepayment/Booking Referral

We have been pre-booking, booking and paying for over 1 year. Were going to arrive in 4 weeks. Now comes the cancellation on the part of the hotel due to inefficiency. In the calendar, however, everything is fully booked. Very strange, isn't it? Apparently, others pay more than bookings through Booking.com....

it is unfortunatelly not perfect

Me and t in my whole family spent in Wernigerode the long holiday in May (3 days). we had an apartment with kitchen and 2 bathrooms. what can I say, there was plenty of space, BUT
when we arrived some dirty glases were in the kitchen - absolutly no go!
the most problem was breakfast. we had booked with brekfast inclisive, so it was really a mistake. every day it was a really disaster by breakfast buffet. every table was dirty, the were no coffee or bread, i must say it was brought but a little bit later, so the breakfast could not be shorter than 1 hour!!!
the wifi signal was so poor, so I could not work with it with my laptop////
as positive points I wold mention the pool. the hotel stuff is very friendly
so by the prices of this hotel I will choose the other one in Wernigerode. there are plenty of small ones and apartments.

enttäuschend

Leider stimmt die Beschreibung des Zimmers nicht, ein angebotenes Dreibettzimmer entpuppte sich als Doppelzimmer mit einen knatschenden Sofabett. Klima gibt es natürlich auch nicht was in Verbindung mit den pieksenden Daunenbetten nicht eben zum besten Schlaf führte. Das Frühstück war ok , aber nichts besonders . Was auch seltsam war, das die Rezeption ab 1500 nicht mehr besetzt war. Warum mecker ich ? Wir reden von 200 Euro pro Nacht, auf unserer Reise war dies das mit Abstand teuerste und leider auch das schlechteste Hotel. Nur die Freundlichkeit des Personals und die hervorragend Lage verhindern stachen heraus .

Naja

Man kommt an und keiner ist an der Rezeption. Der Schlüssel liegt auf dem Pult mit einem Zettel. Jeder hätte ihn nehmen können. Wir hatten ein Dreibettzimmer gebucht dieses war aber nur mit einem Doppelbett und einer Schlafcouch diese bis maximal Größe eines 12 Jährigen bestellt. An einer Seite des Doppelbettes gab es keine Steckdose. An der Schlafcouch wiederum 3 Stück. In das Zimmer 20 kommt man schlechter rein als andere, da direkt neben der Tür eine große Vitrine steht. Mit großem Gepäck also schwer reinzukommen. Im Frühstücksaal hinten in der Ecke in dem Sofa fand ich einen Hundekeks.
Die Lage des Hotels ist zwar gut aber die Zimmer könnten besser sein. Ich würde es nicht weiter empfehlen.
