A Jewel in Kumasi

If you are looking for a relaxing and safe stay in Kumasi. Villa Sankofu is the place to stay! Suites are spacious, clean, modern and well maintained. Decor reflects the culture, the Hostess is knowledgeable if you need suggestions on what to see or where to eat. The grounds are very lovely and well maintained. Support this female owned and operated Black Business you will not be disappointed!

What a Spectacular Experience!

Wow, Wow, Wow! First of all, the property is Exquisite. My room was breathtaking, spacious, clean and elegant. The host was delightful, friendly, warm and considerate. When we arrived she was preparing a meal for us. Well, needless to say, it was DELICIOUS...even though it was more food than I could handle.

Unreliable and indifferent - Despite confirmed booking, the place was virtually closed on arrival

We had a confirmed reservation through booking.com, even had email contact before, but when we arrived, they were not expecting us and were virtually closed. Our apartment was not ready, the pool was empty, the restaurant was closed, the WiFi not working, there were no other guests and the host seemed on her way out. In a very casual and off handed manner she let us know that she could not honour our booking. She couldn’t care less that we were left stranded and had to look for alternative accommodation at the last minute and in the late afternoon.
Unfortunately we couldn’t leave a review on Booking.com, They immediately cancelled the booking and their system only allows reviews to be posted for reservations that stayed at the property.

This is a redilicous review full of malice and should not have been accepted by tripadvisor. You were not expected, Bocking.com Automatically confirmed your booking without my knowledge. I was prepared to get a room ready but you decline and got Booking.com to compensate you, after which, Booking.com decide to recoope that money from me. Your behaviour towards me was hostile and rude and this is unacceptable.

Absolutely Beautiful!

This place was amazing. The room I stayed in was beautiful. It was clean, spacious, and very well decorated! I had no complaints at all. The host was delightful! She was very kind and caring. The breakfast she provided was incredible, very healthy and very fresh! The area was safe and gated with staff waiting to help you with your needs. I will definitely be coming back to Ghana and when I go to Kumasi I will for sure be saying at Villa Sankofa.
