It is the scenic hotel, just terrific!

My stay at Pearl Star Hotel Atami completely lived up to its reputation as a "scenic view hotel." Every aspect was designed to showcase its stunning seaside setting.
The welcome gift of traditional Japanese sweets set a delightful tone. The highlight was undoubtedly the traditional onsen. With both indoor and outdoor pools overlooking the ocean, it was a sublime experience. Visiting at night with the lights off was uniquely peaceful, though it sparked my imagination—how incredibly romantic this must be during a fireworks season! The variety of baths with different benefits was wonderful, and the thoughtful touch of offering a cooling drink or ice cream afterwards was perfect.
The room was exceptionally spacious (around 70 sqm), with a design aesthetic I was told rivals that of Tokyo's top-tier hotels. The private balcony offered another glorious sea view. Most importantly—and worth revisit, the room had its own private onsen.
Breakfast (as I remembered, it’s served until 10 am) offered plentiful choices. The most delightful feature was the fresh orange juicing station, promoting a wonderfully healthy start to the day.
This hotel was a planned highlight of my itinerary, and it has left a lasting, beautiful impression. A truly memorable stop.

I don't know who I'll go with next.

I stayed for two nights as a birthday present for my mother, who is in her 90s. It made it the best stay. The room was a Japanese and Western room with an open air, on the 7th floor.
The view from the room was also wonderful and unfortunately it was cloudy weather, but I enjoyed it.
The room furnishings were also filled with wonderful works from Japan, which was very impressive.
I spent a lot of time in my room because I was with my elderly mother, but it was really comfortable and luxurious.
The bath on the top floor is really nice. I even wanted to stay here all day. The washing area was also well spaced, and the floor was designed to prevent slipping, so my elderly mother was relieved. The lockers in the changing rooms are also meticulously considered, and I feel they are different from other hotels. The rest area after the bath was spacious and comfortable.
The breakfast buffet was, as expected, full of variety and flavor. Japanese, Western, and Chinese are all available, and they look beautiful, so you can have breakfast really comfortably.
For dinner on the first day, we booked a sushi and had something wonderful. My mother, who was in her 90s, was thrilled.　I also enjoyed talking to the chef, Omori, and was really impressed by the effort and effort put into each dish. Many of the ingredients are not good at it, and we appreciate your cooperation.
Anyway, it was a very satisfying trip, everything. The price is certainly high, but we are grateful that we have travelled beyond that.

Perhaps the best hotel we have ever visited. The personal onsen baths are amazing with a magnificent view of the bay. The room itself was expansive and beautiful. All drinks in the fridge are free. Breakfast is excellent . The staff is A+++ and very accommodating. The happy hour with free unlimited drinks is a nice perk. One caveat— checkin starts at 3 p.m. and not a minute sooner.
