Good location and the ocean is right there with beautiful view. The beach is very near...2 minutes walk.

Clean, friendly and great location (short walking distance from American Village!) This no frills hotel is perfect for the traveler who needs the basic amenities. Shower and bath combo was perfect, loved the water pressure. Bed was comfy but a little hard for my liking. No closets to hang your clothes or an iron to unwrinkled my linen outfits. Private balcony, was a nice touch if you enjoy people watching. There a small restaurant on the first floor for a quick breakfast meal, however a Lawson's convenient store near by for quick snacks and beverages. Again, great price for what you get.

Cococious Monpa hotel is clean, and safe. There’s a lot of restaurants near it, walking distance to the American Village where you’ll find shops and restaurants. Also close to the water where you can enjoy the beautiful sunset. The hotel also has good breakfast food, and very affordable. I will use this hotel again next time I come back to Okinawa.

No housekeeping. AC not working either. Everytime I needed something I was informed it would cost extra so I just stopped asking. Towels had to be physically exchanged at reception. Very bizarre. Would not recommend.

The Cococious Monpa was perfect for what we needed. Staying here is similar to staying in a local apartment. It is conveniently located on the edge of American Village and walkable to restaurants and attractions in both American Village and Sunabe. The rooms are simple, spacious, and very clean. The air conditioning unit works well. The walk-in shower room had excellent water pressure and maintained a nice, hot water temperature. The mattresses were firm but still provided a great night's sleep. The room was insulated well from sound, and we could not here any noise from 58 or from other guests.
There is a small kitchenette in the room with a burner unit, sink, and cabinets for storage. However, there was no pot to cook with, which was a bit disappointing. The room also got quite humid. Having lived in Okinawa for years, we are used to dealing with humidity and having to empty dehumidifiers. Unfortunately, even if we emptied the provided dehumidifier before bed, it would fill up and stop running during the night. As a result, we would end up waking up between 4-6am to a hot/humid room and have to empty it to go back to sleep. Despite this, we enjoyed our stay overall and the Cococious Monpa was a good fit for our needs.
