I can't get regular appointments.
I can either make a reservation for the fall of the following year when I stay, or I can make another appointment as soon as I get home.
Unfortunately, if you call in March to make a November appointment, they will only accept reservations six months in advance of this year.
We travel a long way to Chikuma City, so we've stayed at a few regular hotels outside of the Sasaya Hotel, and decided that the final hotel would be Sasaya Hotel.
In this situation, we are unable to book any other hotels.
To make annual travel plans, many people first book a hotel they really want to visit, and then make travel plans for other destinations.
I think there are a lot of people who have.
"On the phone, I said, ""I'm going every year like I'm a regular, because I want to make plans for the fall again this year."" The receptionist declined, saying, ""I'm not going to give any advance phone consultations on the same terms to anyone."""
We have regulars who stay here every year and want to go to the Sasaya Hotel again this fall, so we have designated the Sasaya Hotel.
I was disappointed when he replied that he couldn't hear anything about the guest either.
To be honest, I felt pathetic.
My wife and I are talking about how we have to find another place quickly to plan our annual trip. I can't help but be sorry.
In the case of online reservation, there is no way to not be able to make a reservation under the 45 days system,
But when I asked him what he wanted, he said, "I'll ask you about the reservation you want, but I can't guarantee it. If we cannot meet your wishes, we will contact you."

Meh~ Classic but nothing special
Do bare in mind this is the most luxury onsen hotel in town. Yet the service they provide is just so so,
Food are terrible here, any ramen shop would be better then this.
The concierge is pretty much useless, we call and ask him for ramen place, he say there is no ramen here, and recommend us a sushi place.
2nd time we called and ask what is open nearby the restaurant as we are outside and late and hungry, he told us ehhh maybe a Chinese restaurant, and that all. For a concierge at this service with this price, it’s a rip off
Rooms are nice and beautiful, they have private onsen on each room. Maybe we book the special ones.
Anyway, I would give it 3/10 if ur considering to stay.

Ideal for experience to Japanese traditional hotel.
Although "Hohnen Mushi", the old accommodations which was built approximately 80 years ago and now is one of important cultural property of the country, was so amazing, in addition, the staff's services were more amazing.
I felt that they were hospitable and well recognized what the guests wished to do.
I recommend this hotel if you would wish to experience japanese traditional one.

ホテル検索が趣味なので数週間にわたり調べに調べ、最後には直感でここを選びました。
華美で無い本当の贅沢と静けさを求めていたのですが、完璧に要望を満たしてくれました。
宿泊したのは豊年虫の菖蒲というお部屋です。
夏の終わり頃だったので人も少なく部屋でゆっくりとしたり、ロビーでお茶をしたり、露天風呂に浸かったり、命の洗濯をできました。
（バーも利用しましたがリーズナブルで美味しかったです）
宮下さんという仲居さんにとてもお世話になりました。
私もサービス業に近い仕事なのでプロの接客として手本にしたいと思いました。
私たちは子供連れだったのですが細かいところまで配慮頂き感激しました。
1泊目の夕食は和食、2泊目の夕食は中華でしたがどちらもとても良かったです。
帰りの送迎バスを運転してくれた方（若旦那さん？）曰く、戸倉駅近くのお蕎麦屋さんが笹屋ホテルの前身だとか。
次回はお蕎麦屋さんも利用したいと思います。
注意点として豊年虫はネット上では空室が無いように見えて実はまだ予約可能ということが多いようです。
宿に直接電話またはメールして予約したほうがいいかと思います。

確かにこれぞ高級老舗旅館だと感じた
車で到着したらスタッフが駐車場まで車を運んでもらうタイプなので気になる方は注意。
到着したら荷物を部屋まで持ってもらえます。
スタッフの方が部屋まで案内してもらえます。
一通りの説明の後、女性のスタッフが来られ、和菓子と抹茶を頂けました。
安い味ではなく満足しました。
部屋は新しいって事でもなくむしろ古き部分もありますが、とても清潔。
肘掛けもありとてもゆったりと過ごせました。
しかも笹屋ホテルは客室露天風呂部屋だけでなく全ての部屋に温泉に浸かることができるので驚きです。
大浴場はタオルが用意されているので部屋から持っていく必要なし。
脱衣所も清潔に保たれていました。ロッカーありです。
来訪日の当日は石の風呂。洗い場はそれほど多くはありませんが私が宿泊した日は
平日でもあって余裕です。内湯は手前が熱め、奥がやや熱め程度。
硫黄臭はあまり感じられず。露天風呂は三段階になっており、奥にいけば適温。
奥にいくほど鮮度が劣化と思いきや、奥からも温泉が流れているので
これはいい配慮だと思いました。露天の方が硫黄臭が感じられます。
翌日は木の風呂。内湯はどちらかというと石かなと。
露天は木でできており、樽風呂二つあります。経験上、冬の朝の温泉の温度は
高めに設定されているのが多いんですが、笹屋ホテルは適温に設定されており、
湯加減もきちんとされているとわかります。
夕食は中華フルコース。宿の和食は食べ飽きているので滅多に食べない中華を選択。
餃子屋以外の中華料理店も行ったことがなければ、家でも中華はそれほど積極的に食べない方なので、感想としては素人と思ってください。
中華料理店みたいにぐるぐる回るテーブルがありフルコースなのでいきなり料理が全て並ぶ事はないです。
辛みのある料理もあればご飯のお供となる料理もあり途中からご飯を用意してもらったのでお腹いっぱいに。
エビチリのエビ自体も大きかったり、フカヒレスープも食べ応えあったり、杏仁豆腐も知ってる味でなく美味しかったりと本当に満足できる料理でした。
朝食は特別美味しいという品はなかったですが、そこらの宿と比べるとワンランク上かなと思います。
価格としてはちょっと高めかなと感じましたが、宿の質を考えると満足できる内容でした。
今回残念だったのが登録有形文化財の豊年虫の見学を忘れた事。
これだけが心残りでした。
